Dr Bacchus is the man! Terrific knowledge and his technology is second to none! He is always polite and respectful and is a generous practitioner for the community. I highly recommend him as a dentist and the girls working the front desk are absolutely top notch!

What an amazing first visit I had at this clinic! Dr Bachus went through so many options with me and I have never had a dentist spend so much time with me.
I was so impressed, that not only did I book my appointments back, but I also booked in my husband and my kids.

I left crying because I felt so belittled and made to feel horrible about my situation. He has such a big ego, he literally talked abour himself and how much he "knows" and has "done" etc the whole time. I learned more about him personally than I ever would need to know, and I feel like he learned nothing about my dental history. I tried explaining/talking about something to do with my teeth and dental history and I was literally cut off by him saying essentially that's not important and then proceeded to talk more about himself. In between bragging and tooting his own horn, he made me feel like crap because of old dental work I had had done that wasn't the greatest (not even my fault) and that I could not afford to get dental crowns and an implant done right away, which I didn't even know I needed. Making me feel like crap because I couldn't afford something, and making me feel so bad/embarrassed to need things with my teeth fixed, that's not cool. And i will mention its not like my teeth were rotting out of my head or anywhere near that lol, i had one small cavity and the rest was just old fillings needing crowns. Oh and then started in on how my orthodontist wasnt doing his job or doing his job right etc.
So I would suggest not to go see this dentist, I will never ever go back or recommend him. Nor have I ever experienced this from a dentist before in my life.

I’ve been seeing Dr Bachus at North Island dental for about 2 years now and am always happy with the treatment I receive. So glad to see this type of clinic open up in the Comox Valley!

I have a history of clenching and grinding and at my first appointment I was really happy with the options he presented to me.
His hygienist was super lovely as well!

I recently had my first appointment with Dr Bachus and was so impressed by his patience and compassion.
I have not been to the dentist for many years and was feeling very self conscious about my first visit in so long.
Not only did Dr Bachus put me at ease, but he also explained to be all of the options that I could choose from.
Who knows, next time I might actually enjoy going to the dentist!
