Just an amazing cataract surgeon. I had a wonderful experience and my vision is now awesome. Dr. Wendel loves what he does and is very well respected among his peers and his staff and it shows. My retinal specialist referred to him as a “superstar” and I agree. I would highly recommend him to anyone who requires cataract surgery.

Best bedside manner of a doctor I have come across. Great surgical experience - he sang to me (don’t quit your day job doc). Shout out to all of the nurses at the hospital - very good for MSP.

Feb 13/24. Dr. Wendel preformed cataract surgery on my eyes on two different dates at the Peace Arch Hospital. I was nervous before my first surgery and much calmer for my second surgery. DR. Wendel is amazing! He made me feel very comfortable . Someone mentioned that Dr. Wendle sang alittle country! Well, I was lucky enough to experience that as well👍😁🎼. I can’t say enough about this wonderful doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Wendel for your eye care needs. Thank you so much Dr. Wendell, you rock👍👏🏻

Dr. Wendel performed cataract surgery forme.

His team and office are very efficient with streamlined procedures.
I received a date for surgery in Peace Arch Hospital very quickly after the initial visit.

Dr. Wendel is awesome to make everyone feel at ease with his easygoing manner.
He is however very competent and skilful.

Horrible office staff. Haven’t even seen him yet. Staff and helpfulness I would give a zero.
Cancelled my appointment and tells me they have put me on a wait list.
This office so far is ridiculous to correspond with.

Dr. Wendel is without a doubt, the surgeon you want working on your vision. He corrected my first cataract in 2021 which formed after retina surgery. He put a Toric lens in to correct my astigmatism and I have never seen better in that eye, no infection, no fuss no muss but I followed his orders to a tee. The office staff are friendly, professional and all my appointments were on time as scheduled. He just completed cataract surgery on my second eye and everything the same as first experience. Ask the nurses who work with him everyday, I overheard great comments while I was waiting for my surgery and they are right.
