Biography
Dr. Hodgkins is a highly trained and specialized surgeon rather than a ‘jack of all trades, master of none’ surgeon. He concentrates on a very narrow area of surgical practice which allows him to perfect his techniques to be a high volume surgical expert in these conditions giving his patients the best chance of great results. Dr H specializes in the treatment of foot and ankle fractures, non surgically when possible, and with minimally invasive surgery when necessary. He is most passionate about the comprehensive but minimally invasive surgical treatment of ankle fractures. He also focuses on the minimally invasive surgical treatment of achilles tendon ruptures, bunions and hammer toes and also arthroscopic surgery for sports injuries such as osteochondral lesions and ankle instability using biologics and internal brace. He also specializes in fusion and replacement surgeries for arthritic conditions of the foot and ankle. Please note Dr Hodgkins does not treat most non surgical conditions of the foot and ankle, if you need surgery, Dr H is your high volume minimally invasive surgical expert!

Great surgeon, but everything else was absolutely messy. From requesting the wrong blood work prior to surgery, to physical therapists who would not listen to his orders after surgery, to this office diagnosing me wrong - what a mess. As a patient, you deserve better. Surgery is a major endeavor for an entire family. And you are just a number here and fall through the cracks. This place is a major problem waiting to happen. I ended up going to a different doctor for my rehabilitation and recovery, and it was the best decision I made for myself. However, no patient should ever be put in that position. I do not recommend.
