Biography
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Warrell received his bachelor of science in biological sciences from Ohio University before earning his doctor of medicine from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He has a long record of accolades and honors from both faculty and classmates – demonstrating his empathy and well as professional and personal integrity. Dr. Warrell joined Orlando Orthopaedic Center in September 2017 after completing an orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship with the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, FL. He also completed an orthopaedic surgery residency and internship with Orlando Health, where he served as the Academic Chief Resident. He has served as assistant team physician and provided medical coverage for a wide variety of teams across multiple sports including stints with the Auburn University football team, Major League Baseball’s Washington Nationals and the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Dr. Warrell has co-authored several book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles on orthopaedic issues including Tommy John surgery, knee reconstruction and rotator cuff repair. Dr. Warrell is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the International Congress for Joint Replacement and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Warrell took his time explaining my injury . He and the staff at his office were very pleasant and efficient. No pressure for extra procedures or tests . I would highly recommend him for any orthopedic needs.
