I have seen Dr. Pace several times in last five years. I like his full explanations and the time he spends with you. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

If you want a doctor who will follow up on your care, go elsewhere. He's very nice when you're with him, but out of sight, out of mind.

Dr. Pace is very knowledgeable and caring. He takes as much time as needed to fully explain my medical situation. He comes to the consultation well prepared. His staff is very friendsly and caring. The only downside is the long waits - never less than 45 minutes and sometimes more. I will put up with long wait to get the care that Dr. Pace and his staff provide.

Been going to Pace for 8 years, and he continues to display a wisdom for complex medical issues like the prostate. I disagree with the other person who said he doesn't. He spends a lot of time with a patient and answers every question. The only problem I find with him is he's so popular that it takes time to get an appointment with him, and some time is spent waiting at the office.

I have been going to Dr. Pace for a number of years and have found him to be very caring and helpful. He has always made me feel comfortable and has always spent the time to explain things and suggest solutions for my issues. I find him to be most knowledgeable and more attentive than other Doctors I have visited. I have been very satisfied with his care.

Pace is a young doctor who is not very knowledgeable in regard to various issues of the prostate and bladder system. If you have a simple infection, then going to him for a short-term treatment of antibiotics is fine. But if you have a more involved urological issue then Pace would not be the doctor to whom you would want involved in analyzing and assisting in handling your illness. This is simply because he's not very experienced in this profession. I highly recommend consulting another Urologist if you have something more than a simple infection. And, because of the intricate nature of the bladder system, I would only recommend a Urologist who is well experienced in this field no matter what the issue might be.

    Biography

The all-important patient-physician bond involves a bit of alchemy. Dr. Pace calls it “the art of medicine.” In his mind, nurturing trust while easing anxieties in the men and women who come to him for treatment of bladder tumors, kidney stones and other urologic issues begins with open and thoughtful communication. “I sit down and talk with them,” he says. “We usually end up having a great discussion. I try to let them know that I will help them get through whatever it is they are dealing with.” Dr. Pace knew at a young age that he wanted to be a physician. “I like to help people,” he says. “Being able to help improve someone’s life is really rewarding.” While in medical school at State University of New York at Buffalo, Dr. Pace found the diversity of patient cases and surgical procedures interesting during a rotation in urology. The native New Yorker moved to Dallas for his internship and residency in general surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. He stayed in Dallas to complete a residency in urology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. With nearly two decades of experience as a general urologist, Dr. Pace successfully treats patients with kidney stones, bladder tumors, and other urologic issues. As a founder of Urology Partners, he’s glad to be part of a practice dedicated to making the patient experience better. “All of my patients help make me a better physician,” he notes. When he isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Pace enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He and his family live in North Richland Hills.
