Dr. Holden is wonderful, very kind & patient. He takes the time to go over any worries or concerns you may have & doesn't make you feel rushed or brushed off. However, his receptionist is absolutely AWFUL. I have continuing issues & have had severe bleeding where I've ended up in the ER twice this past year. I was told by Dr. Holden to call his office if anything happens again & he will fit me in asap. When speaking to his receptionist and telling her this when another emergency happened, she was EXTREMELY rude, treated me as if I was lying about it & told me that he wasn't taking phone appointments until the following month, & he wasnt booking in office appointments for a very long time,
because he has other appointments and commitments to attend to. Her exact words. I explained to her again, my emergency, and that Dr. Holden specifically told me to call if/when something happens, she let out a huge *sigh* asked for my number & said well I'll have to talk to Dr. Holden about it first, I'll call you back. I was never called back. I am most certain she never took my number. It's very disheartening & upsetting when the Dr to tells you to call if something happens and then get treated like you've made it up when you do call during an emergency.
Sadly this was not the first time this had happened.
There were also issues when my family Dr had sent not one but TWO referrals, which his receptionist said she never got, when my physician keeps the fax confirmation sheets for referrals.
It's such a disappointment to say the least, that his staff is so awful, lazy & non empathetic, when he is such a wonderful Doctor.

Doctor Holden is fantastic but his office really needs improvement. Big time. I can’t get ahold of him for my results, only for my family dr contacted me about further testing I needed I would still be in the dark because dr Holden didn’t get back to me. I don’t know if he is over worked but the office needs improvement. He is a 10/10 doctor I will say. Just wish it was easier to see him.

Seems to only have the knowledge and interest of pregnant patients. Very disappointed in everything about the way his office is run. Except the air conditioning was superb for my hot flashes. Maybe he discards menopausal women or their usefulness to society. Who knows but the medication did not work he prescribed for my symptoms. I had a follow up appointment and it was cancelled by the secretary in October. She said she’d call back to re-schedule on Friday. It’s now been over 8 weeks and have not heard back. In the first place it had taken me a year to get in. I’ve see him one time. That’s it. I think it’s terrible to be treated this way, especially by a doctor who comes so highly rated. Hopefully I can get a referral to another doctor who deals with more than pregnancy, in terms of women’s personal health. Like the fantastic one I saw in 2008. I just left a message with the office to that effect. We’ll see how that goes. I shall keep you posted. Thanks for reading! And I hope your pregnancy is a fabulous one. This Doctor is AMAZING ! He answers all questions I have . Being a first time mom it’s hard to trust someone but I trust him . The girls at the front are amazing ! He has a great team!! Keep it up , I look forward to coming during this pregnancy .

Dr. Holden goes above and beyond. Cannot praise this man enough to his bed side manner and knowledge. He really makes an effort to show his attentiveness and care. If you can get in to see him do so!

Love Dr Holden! He is super kind, knowledgeable, and takes the time to listen.


His staff are friendly, but are frustrating to depend on. It's extremely challenging to get ahold of them via phone. I've had to go to the office to make an appointment. They also did not email me information that Dr Holden requested.

Dr. Holden was my doctor when I was pregnant with my son. I don't have words to express how phenomenal he is. So attentive, knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful, friendly and kind. I was so lucky to have had him and I hope that if I ever get pregnant again in the future that I will be lucky enough to be under his care again

Doctor Holden is great, when you're able to get in to see him.
No one answers the phone at his office. You can't leave a message and they no longer accept emails. The staff say they will follow up with you and then you never hear from them. As someone who has had several pregnancy losses, the way his office is managed makes me feel even more hopeless.

Dr. Holden is simply the best OB in the City.

Yes it's a challenge to get a hold of his office on some days, and yes sometimes there's a little bit of a wait in the waiting room, but having him be your OB is 100% worth those little tiny inconveniences.

When you become a patient of Dr. Holden's you really become part of his family. He takes care of you. The girls on the desk are sweet as strawberry pie. And even though you may struggle with calling their office, if ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING concerning comes up, they will call you ASAP and take care of you.

My advice is to just trust Holden and his clinic and trust the process. They are experts and will take care of you and your baby.

Impossible to book an appointment for follow-up, 3 times I've been told they will call me back and I have yet to hear from his office.
