My husband suddenly and unexpectedly passed away six years ago. I was having a very difficult time dealing with everything that was happening. I had never been to a therapist before and was very reluctant to go. I am so glad I went to see Dr. Washam. He is very kind and knowledgeable. From the first visit I felt better. He has helped me so much. I am not sure how I would have handled the sudden loss without him. He always knows what to say to make me feel better. I moved two hours away and I still travel to see him. I would recommend Dr. Washam to anyone who needs help. Thank you, Dr. Washam, for everything you have done for me!

Dr. Washam is far and away the best therapist that I have ever seen. He listens to my problems and is very relatable when I share my troubles. Dr. Washam knew exactly what I needed when I first saw him and I am very blessed to have him in my life at this time as my Wife has been struck with some very serious health issues and having him to lean on has been outstanding. He has reached out to me quite a few times since seeing him just to check in on me and how I was doing. I’ve never known of a therapist to do that and it just shows how much he cares and when I talk to him, I feel like I’m the only person in his world at that time. Thanks for everything thus far, Dr. Washam.

During these trying times during the covid 19 pandemic Dr. Washam has been the only person that has really helped me, and been there for me. He has helped me with my severe anxiety, and other disorders, and experiences, related to being a essential worker during this pandemic. I can always count on him to be there for me when needed. There's a good reason Dr Washam has all 5 star reviews. Whatever the problem I have complete faith he can help you along with great expertise and knowledge. I've been searching for help for about a year and a half through the VA without any step forward so I would much rather pay out of pocket, no matter the price, for this level of expertise and compassion. If you're reading this review and are skeptical of seeing Dr Washam, I will just tell you it's well worth your time to have a chat with him.

We absolutely love this guy!!!!! I am a step parent to my husbands children, at times we have a hard time navigating our relationships with the kiddos. Coming from different backgrounds can be challenging for us. Dr. Washam helped us so much in just the first hour we met with him. Dr. Washam is real, makes sense, and is no BS. His insight, education, along with experience has made him someone we are SO THANKFUL to have met. I chose him from the internet because he was so close. In the end we feel so fortunate that we made the call for him to give us guidance. The hours we have spent with him have helped us more than we could have ever imagined. The stories, and life experiences Dr. Washam shared with us were so helpful and made us laugh too.
DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL DR. WASHAM....I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! My husband and I liked Dr. Washam so much, we said to each other "wouldn't it be great to have dinner with him" thats how much we like spending time with him and listening to his point of view, or advice on life, relationships, trust, & understanding. Only if everyone who needed guidance could seek his guidance....we are thankful we did:)

Dr. Washam is an original and penetrating psychoanalytic thinker and clinician with a penchant for clearly articulating complex ideas and making timely and powerful interpretations. I have been in denial for the majority of my life of just how powerful and damaging an influence my past has been on who I am today . The guilt, insecurity, anxiety all symptoms of a childhood filled with chronic abuse and abandonment. I am now gaining an awareness of how past experiences shape my present behaviors- Dr. Washam is gifted and I strongly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Washam's for the last 2 1/2 years and continue to be overwhelmed by his dedication and insight to helping others overcome their own barriers. He is nothing short of a genius in his understanding of the human condition. He is always honest, open-minded, empathetic, insightful, and exceptionally kind. He has gone above and beyond his obligations as a provider to advocate not only for myself but for the wellbeing of my daughter. He has checked in on my family during holidays and non-business hours, to provide support and reassurance. His extensive expertise intertwined with spiritual guidance allows you to grow both personally and spiritually. Dr. Washam's treatment and care have exceeded all expectations and I believe he is the best resource anyone in the Greater Cincinnati area could access for his specialty.
