Had him for both my children and felt like I could never ask questions as he always seemed rushed.He has an excessive amount of patient so I feel like he never has time for all of them.
I talked to him about hysterectomy due to family history of ovarian cancer and some issues with menstrual cramps and periods.His suggestion was IUD which I advocated I don't want been on birth control enough in my lifetime.Before he left room he said that he gets paid more if I have more kids.That was such a hurtful thing they tell us to all advocate for our bodies yet when we do no one helps

The best Doctor of all time! He was my OBGYN for the birth of my son and he is the most compassionate and considerate man i have ever met. You can tell he got into womens medicine because he is a true advocate for womens rights in their personal medical health and experience. He performed a scheduled c section for my sons birth, it was so smooth and easy! my scar is practically a roll line at this point because it was so expertly done and my recovery was insanely good! i was up on my feet performing most of my regular activities around the house within a few days. He cares so much, and is an expert in his field. i would recommend him over and over again!

Ridiculously nice man with great bedside manner. He puts you at ease and really gives you the impression he’s listening. Key word being impression. He was wholly unhelpful for my issues, which happens and that’s okay, and I have more than one friend so traumatized from their birthing experience and aftercare that they’ve chosen to leave the municipality to deliver subsequent babies. I’ve never met anyone who had anything that wasn’t treated with huge amounts of Premarin. Not one of those issues were successfully resolved. Told me pelvic floor physio was a money grab and waste of time— hundreds of studies show otherwise. Nice guy, great guy even, but not at his vocation.

Needed a hysteroscopy and D&C for removal of large uterine/endometrial polyp that was causing problems. Previous doctors didn't seem to take it seriously, or suggest removal to resolve the issue. Thankfully Dr Hamm wanted to ACT and within 2 months my longstanding problem (that 2 other OBGYNs and 2 MD's thought was insignificant) was resolved with a simple surgery. I was nervous, but his bedside manner helped to make it a positive experience. So glad that Chatham has this great OBGYN!

He is honestly the nicest man you’ll ever meet. He’s got great bedside manner and he’s very kind and considerate. Unfortunately, he’s not great when it comes to urogyneacological issues. He’s willing to order tests but completely unwilling to admit that he’s not a urologist and he’s fallible. He diagnosed me with an incurable disease and said it couldn’t be anything else, 100%. Turns out it was something else. I’ve heard he’s a great OB and delivers babies like it ain’t no ones business, but anything else leaves something to be desired.

Such a wonderful doctor. I started seeing him when he was in St Thomas while I was pregnant and continue to see him since he moved to Chatham for gyne trouble. Well worth the drive, he has the best bedside manner, his staff is friendly and professional and his new office is beautiful and very clean!
