DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST! From the receptionist to Charlse himself the whole office is running a scam. Fillings fell out two months after he did them. Did this in purpose. I have a better chance of winning the lottery than all 3 filings falling out. Slime ball. He even looks like one. And the receptionist gives me attitude?! Unbelievable!

Biggest scam artist ...he is NOT an orthodontist or a periodontist and shouldn't be holding himself out as such.Check the RCDS (dental college) website out and you will find he has been in trouble several times.I am not sure how any one would rate this man 5 stars but most likely the great ratings are from within his office/home.

From day one I met with Dr Blumenfeld and his team, I always felt safe. No questions was too stupid to ask. My entire family goes to him and we are all very pleased with his work so far. I had a huge gap, space tooth and he closed it with Invisalign. I then went the extra mile by adding eight veneers to my upper teeth. My goodness! I have never felt more confident and more beautiful with my smile. A brand new me. Thanks to DR B and his team. Sonia (front desk) is amazing, always so professional and friendly.

I should have read the reviews "before" my visit. My filling fell out just 3 months after it was done. Another dentist told me that some dentists do this so they can get paid again when they have to fix it. Since insurance is covering the cost they think it's no big deal. This Dr blumenfeld seems to lake integrity. After reading the all the negative reviews he's going to have to change his name. Btw the receptionist was no better. Pretended like this was a normal thing and even gave me attitude when I wouldn't book another appointment. Ugh!!

I recently changed dentists because of a potential root canal determined by my old dentist. In fairness to him, he does not do root canals so he referred me to an endodontist, a dentist who specializes in this area. They are much more expensive that a dentist but if you want the best type of person to treat this dental issue, this is who you should go to because they do root canals many more times a month or year than a regular dentist. Prior to going, a friend of mine told me to call "Charlie" or Dr. Charles Blumenfeld. He said if I go to him, he will tell you the truth about the tooth and how best to deal with it. Although I am not a great fan of any dentist, let alone someone I have never met, I respected my friend's opinion and called Charlie up and got an appointment within 2 days--because of the potential severity of the issue. I thought that was pretty good since I wasn't even a patient of his and because of Covid-19. He asked if I had done an X-Ray prior to the diagnosis from my old dentist and I said yes. He then asked me to e-mail him the digital X-Ray which my old dentist was able to do. Upon reviewing the X-Ray and prior to my actual appointment, I received a personal call from Dr. Blumenfeld. He called not only to introduce himself but to tell me that my tooth issue may have already gone too far to have a root canal done. We briefly chatted about the abscess above the specific tooth and he said this may already have affected the quality of the root below the gumline. He said he would not know for sure until he had a better look at it but he wanted to prepare me for this in advance. Anyway, once he did see me, he did confirm that doing a root canal would be very "iffy" because he did not think the part of the tooth that connects to the jaw would be stable enough. He said he would try but after we chatted further about it, in the end I decided to get it extracted. When he did extract it he then explained I definitely made the right choice because the abscess had affected the bottom of the root. I tell you this story because I am amazed by the reviews some people write about dentists. Can their service be better--in some cases yes. Are they sometimes more abrupt than you think they should be--perhaps. Are any of us perfect? If every dentist was excellent at their work I guess we would make decisions on who to go to based upon small, rather insignificant issues. The fact most dentists have many many patients probably tells you that they do provide reasonably good services most of the time. However, not all dentists are as proficient and qualified as others. Most know how to fill a cavity but everyone knows how to properly extract a tooth or do root canal or implants. I am writing this note to tell you from my personal experience that Dr. Charles Blumenfeld is very highly qualified. I found him to be straightforward and direct to the point. He doesn't need to sell you on getting a dental issue fixed just to make money. He already has a full schedule. What is reassuring is that he will tell you the truth AND he knows his craft. Read his credentials for yourself. Anyone who is qualified to repair a person's total dental structure after being in a car accident is someone I want to work on my teeth.

Dr Charles Blumenfeld has offices in Oakville and Brampton. The whole office is crooked! The reception actually gave me attitude when she understood i wasn't booking another appointment. Why would I? After filling a cavity and also getting a quote for an implant I decided to go to another Dentist for a second quote for the implant. By fluke when he took an x-ray he saw the new filling but also clearly pointed out that a HUGE cavity was still there! So he is either a really bad dentist or wanted my tooth to eventually need a root canal or implant which would make him even more money! I actually had to go back to him to treat the cavity. You think he offered any apology? No just complete arrogance. I also noticed a very similar review so this is surely not his first time behaving with a lack of integrity. Doctors are supposed to be the pillars of our community, what a shame. Oh and he always was rushing through appointments it's like he was playing catch up ugh.

My family has been going to Lakeridge for over 15 years and we have seen a drastic decline in Dr. Blumenfeld 's care, over the past few years.
We feel he is both, distracted and lacking concern for our well being.
He showed up 45 minutes late (he is usually only 20 min.late) ,without an explanation or an apology and then rushed us through our appointments . I expressed my concerns to his assistant(she is wonderful) and she said he is dealing with a lot of stress in his personal life.
We all have stresses, however, as a health care provider he needs to be professional and leave his problems at home and provide his patients with the best care.
We love the staff but unfortunately, they aren't the people treating us.
I am sad to say , after being loyal patients of his, we have decided to leave his office.
