Stay clear from Dr. Roa. Nothing but trouble all the way from long waits at his office, difficult staff, billing trouble, and he misses too much. He will not take responsibility for errors but does what he can to give you more trouble if you should point them out. He also charged me $495.00 for a wellness check. I got nothing but a cholesterol check for that. Would not give results unless I pay him for another appointment. I kindly asked for hand me my test and I'll read it myself. He refused! I had to go back to where my blood was drawn just to get it. Not only that, he didn't do what I paid him to do, perform a wellness check. I had an infection in my arm at the time so he should have ordered a routine CBC. Now I can't get one unless I pay out of pocket.

Worst Dr. I have ever come across. Went for a wellness check and pain in my shoulder. I had cancer removed there a few months earlier with a different Dr. Staff took 11 days to order my tests. They found it announing I would call them to remind them. I had to push it but it still took 11 days for simple tests. Dr. Missed ordering me CBC, something I have always had included in wellness check. Turn out my arm was infected and a CBC would have picked up on an infection. My arm drained so I know it was infected! I don't get do-overs for wellness checks with my insurance company so unless I want to pay again, I'm out of luck. All I had done was a lipid check. I go in for my results and the Dr. insists on charging for that visit. GEEZ, it was a wellness chekck! I asked for my results to be handed to me. NOPE, they can't do that either. I had to get in my car and drive back to the hospital when I got the test done to get the results. Now guess what, I'm being charged again! I had one wellness check. I shouldn't own them anything. They are the ones who put me out. I could not get my are treated (I waited 3 weeks) unless I wanted to start all over gain. What kind of patient care is that? MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. He did nothing to care for me except for take notes. I can't have those either.

After surviving inspite of Dr. Roa's incorrect diagnosis and his unwillingness to run the proper tests, I found a new doctor who diagnosed my condition appropriately. I am recovering---no thanks to "doctor" Roa. As if that was NOT enough, his billing clerk decided to drop my wife from Medicare eligibility (she is fully insured with Medicare and a secondary). Instead, she placed my wife into collection---without any statement of balance due sent to our address. Roa is one to avoid at all costs!!!!

Will not answer questions directly, but gives round about answers. Knows how to bill, and hospital visits are charged daily, even tho he does not come in. Gave me up as dying, but am now on road to complete recovery
