Dr. Ajay Gupta, part of HVA Medical Group, is board certified in cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine. He is an attending cardiologist at St. Joseph University Medical Center, St. Joseph Wayne Hospital, St. Mary's General Hospital, Hackensack UMC Mountainside Hospital, and Englewood Hospital. Dr. Gupta earned his MD at University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Seton Hall University/St. Joseph University Medical Center, New Jersey, and has been named one of New Jersey's Top Doctors by New Jersey Monthly Magazine every year since 2011.Dr. Gupta specializes in coronary intervention, cardiovascular disease, and peripheral vascular diagnostic procedures. His practice focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease, including angina and heart attack; high blood pressure; high cholesterol; and diabetes. He conducts noninvasive cardiology testing, including treadmill stress tests, nuclear stress tests, and echocardiograms. He also performs interventional and invasive cardiology testing, including cardiac catheterization, coronary balloon angioplasty, as well as diagnosis and treatment for valvular heart disease such as leaky valves and aortic stenosis. Does stent implants at two different hospitals. Has 3 different offices-two to see patients at Montclair and Wayne; the 3rd is in in Clifton for stess testing. Most knowledgeable and easy guy to talk to; personable. My persoable doctor chose him to have stent implants put in by him. Most experienced.
