This Dr. told me that it was mainly my fault that my narcissistic partner treats me so badly. He said that it's because I don't treat myself well. And by not treating myself well, he meant that I skip meals and don't take enough breaks. Well, I work 2 jobs and have no choice due to the increased cost of living, and I do all the housework. Even when I do try to treat myself well and have some free time, my partner still sometimes treats me worse! He got upset when I mentioned considering Medical Assistance in Dying (which will be legal in Canada soon). As soon as I brought it up, he accused me of not treating myself right and claimed that it was the reason my partner abuses me!! It's pretty much the same as saying a woman gets raped because of how she dresses! It was the worst meeting with him, and he lost my trust right then and there! I'm not sure what he was trying to accomplish, but it was like a slap in the face.

He is VERY quick to prescribe antipsychotic medications! Without considering if there is a hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiency, or if the environment is affecting the person in that way... He chooses the easy way out with pill prescriptions.

cannot stress enough how much i do NOT recommend doctor ade. he seems to be a nice enough person, but my experience with him as a prescribing doctor bordered on gross negligence. he prescribed me medication for a condition he himself said he did not think i had, and when i had negative side effects, took me off of said medication so quickly that when i told my family doctor; he was actually shocked and had to taper me off himself in order to relieve the extreme withdrawal symptoms. when i returned to dr ade to tell him about my negative experience with the way he chose to take me off the medication, his response was “well you didn’t want to be on it anymore” as if this justified his truly negligent take on stopping treatment on what anyone with a medical degree could tell you was an extremely difficult medication to come off under NORMAL circumstances. this was my last straw, but not the only issue i had with the man. he would ask questions, but didn’t really seem to consider the answers before asking something else utterly unrelated, redundant, or frankly pointless. he would constantly defer to my parents for answers (whom might i add were not even in the clinic), understandable if you’re treating a child but i was 19 at the time and perfectly capable of advocating for myself. he almost seemed to not care about what i had to say and instead wanted to speak to my parents, who honestly would not have been able to answer a single question about MY mental health accurately. the staff on the other hand were helpful and did their jobs well, but at the end of the day i had a terrible experience with dr ade and absolutely do NOT recommend that anyone see him.

Staff are very pleasant. Always helpful. Dr. Ade though really bad at finishing forms and responding to messages. I know front staff always do their best to talk to him. I guess he is really a busy man

Dr. Ade is a good psychiatrist, I would know I have seen them for 20 years now due to a Tramatic Brain Injury. Yes he is booked solid, and the wait times are too long however I find the staff very helpful if and when I need to see him earlier, they place me on a call list and I do get in to see him. He is treating myself and my son, we love him and the staff. Yes I wait like everyone else, but I do get in and he always apologizes for his lateness, I always tell him your worth the wait and I know others need you too Doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone, in fact I do. We need more like Dr. Ade here in Fort McMurray and Canada.

You prescribed my sister 120 oxycodone for a single month. THIS STARTED 2014. She is dead now. I hope you are happy with the kick backs you got for prescribing this drug. You are a vile human. Thanks for praying on broken people. I hate you.

Very proud and impatient doctor with not so great knowledge. He forms opinion of client very quickly without listening to all they have to say. He diagnosed wrongly and gave wrong/ineffective med. Besides, it is very difficult to get a follow up appointment to see him (average of 2 months). Will not recommend him at all

By far the worst Psychiatrist I ever saw. Does not care. Accuses patients of things they don’t do. Discharges suicidal patients from the hospital without a discharge plan, and then sends them home with a prescription for sleeping pills that they had never taken in their life, nor did they have issues with sleep. The suicidal thoughts revolved around medication.
If I hadn’t a family member stay with me and watch my every move for three weeks after until I was stable enough, I would’ve filled that prescription and swallowed them all.
