Biography
Dr. Jennifer Miles has committed her practice solely to the care of infants, children and adolescents after more than 18 years as an internal medicine and pediatric physician on the Northshore. "I have always enjoyed the complexities of adult medicine, but find myself drawn to children and their special needs. Their excitement and energy remind me of why I decided to practice medicine. It is my wish to be able to contribute to the health and well-being of children and adolescents." Dr. Miles grew up in Baton Rouge and moved to New Orleans to attend Loyola University for college, where she majored in biology and minored in music. She graduated with honors and received the award for most outstanding science graduate. She earned a medical degree at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed a residency in pediatrics and internal medicine at LSU. She is board certified in pediatrics and internal medicine. She has lived and worked on the Northshore for more than 18 years with her husband and three children.

Dr. Miles is always attentive and very competent when dealing with my health problems. Her advice and treatments have always been successful in the many years she has been my physician. I believe this is because she "listens," and dosen't "hurry." I highly recommend her. She is competent, kind, and friendly, and she dosen't make you feel like just another "number."
