I think he did a great job on my back surgery! He doesn't "sugar coat" anything; he is straight forward and honest in his assessments. He may come across as arrogant, but I think it's just his personality! He is easy to talk to and will explain everything in "laymans" terms". I will use him in the future if needed.

Very good surgeon! Pretty straight forward; explains everything well. I agree with the poster that said he was confident! He is, and that can be perceived as arrogance but oh well. He did a great job on me. I would use him again!

I've had 3+1 thru the stomach surgerys from him. The first visit it felt like going to get a membership to a gym, He just kept asking me well do you want me to do the surgery or not? Well this was my first time to get a back surgery done and he stated that this would fix my issue so I went for it. Well then the hardware broke! So he says well that never happens, so he went back and took it all out and said I should be fine.. Well I was 10 times worse! so I had no choice but to have to go back and have the hardware put back in. Then he says that's all I can do!! I can't help you know more. so now I'm disabled at the young age 36!! So you the readers of this make your own judgement. I know what mine is.

He has done three different back surgeries on me and each one has been successful. He has always had a caring attitude and his staff are excellent. Great bedside manner always. I will continue to go to him only for any back problems I have and do recommend him highly for effective back surgeries.

HE WAS VERY HELPFUL FOR MY BACK, AND WAS POLITE. HE HAD THE ANSWER FOR ALL MY QUESTIONS, AND I WILL GO BACK TO HIM IF ANOTHER PROBLEM COMES BACK. SO FAR SO GOOD.

I believe that he made mistakes on 2 out of 3 of my back surgeries. I would never go back to him.

I have been going to him for about 6 years. Two major neck surgeries. He has always talked to me about what he was going to do. Never gave me a 100% guarantee on the outcome but he did a great job both times. The only problem I had was when he came to the hospital. It was almost like he couldn't look at you. Other than that I always felt like I received very good treatment. Always gave meds when I needed them. I really thought he was a cold person the first time I saw him but after several visits I just realized he has a different sense of himself. He does have a lot of confidence in himself! He could be a little warmer toward patients but I really don't care about their personality as much as I do their surgical skills. I ask a lot of questions so he has to answer them.
