I have seen a few pain Drs for my chronic pain wear I was partially paralyzed before by Dr Hubble one of the pain Dr's that I previously saw and he is still practicing which I think is absolutely ridiculous and now I see Dr Arnold Feldman and he is the only Dr so far who has been able to control some of my pain w/ketamine infusions but the political junk in Baton Rouge has prevented him from doing them so I am back in chronic pain everyday of my life. Thanks a lot from our crazy Medical board u wouldn't know a good Dr if he was given the highest honor from the president!!!!!! Yes I am pissed off!!!!

Was just informed that my spouse has failed the last 3 of their drug testing while seeing this doctor. Why is he still treating my spouse when they're not complying with the policies of his office? Sounds like a lawsuit to me.

I've been a patient of Dr. Feldman's since 1999 so I do have a great wealth of knowledge of him, his staff and his competency. I've never met a doctor that shows as much compassion with a patient. I worked in the medical field for 33 years & am registered in lab and xray. Dr. Feldman SEES all of his OWN patients...no mid-levels (PA's, etc). Very rare these days. He will actually LISTEN to what you have to say. They just don't make them like him anymore! I'd give him TEN stars if I could!!

This place was a joke/huge scam. When I called for appt, it was the Feldman institute for neck and spine injuries/constant headaches. I did not know this was a pain management clinic or how they worked. When I got there, the building was "Baton Rouge speciality surgical center." Then a few months later, I got bills from Southwest Anesthesiology of Mississippi for stuff I'd never had done!!! Waited 5 hrs for my initial visit- and had an appt. they wouldn't accept my most recent X-ray's And mri's, made me get one at their clinic. That was $1,000. Not to mention initial $350 up front for a "consultation". When I finally met the guy, he was an arrogant prick and smart a$$, Had the audicity to laugh at my migraines and other debilitating symptoms. Had me in tears. Was no help at all. Come to find out, it was autoimmune and I had Graves' disease. When I called about the SW anesthesiology bills, they said it was in regards to the MRI- which they'd filed with my insurance. When I said I was calling bcbs about the claim, they said if I paid $200 cash on the spot, it would be "taken care of". Wth kind of clinic does that?? This whole thing was shady and some patients in waiting room said they'd followed him from MS, to TX, and to BR. That right there should've told me something, but like I said, I didn't know and just wanted the headaches to stop.

I've been with this doctor for over a year. In the time I've been, things have taken a turn for the worse. The wait times are excessive: 3 or more hours. He tried bringing on other physicians to help w/ pt. over-load, but lost 3 in the past 8 months. There is a high turn over with his staff. The new girls at the front desk are very rude and uncaring; NO compassion what so ever. Dr. has stated he's done enough procedures...don't really need to do anymore? what does that mean? I'm stuck for the time being but looking into other options for pain management. Worried about the state we're all in where PM is concerned. It's really sad because I do feel if Dr. F. would be "life-long" committed to this field he has some potential to leave behind a great legacy. "NOT gonna happen!" Seems he's pretty much done?" My views have substantially changed about this clinic due mainly to the lack of compassion. The cattle call is getting old. I feel like an unimportant number..thats all. I have awesome insurance by the way. Makes no difference in my treatment. NONEI

I had been going to another pain doctor for over 14 years. it got so bad I only saw the dr when I was getting injection in my back and neck, I hadn't had a current mri are ct scan and never X-rays in none of the 14 yrs just the very first one to diagnose me 14 yrs ago!!!! I bern seen Dr Feldman almost one year I have to say I seen him more time in that shout time than I saw some of the so called best pain dr in Baton Rouge in 14 yrs he's done more test on me than anyone ever done he calls me after a procedure to see how I'm doing are before to let me know what going to be happening and what to expect. everyone in that office knows there patients by name from the X-ray ppl to the nurses they all know who you are. they get to know there patients and truly care for your pain and you getting the help to have a better quality of life not all pain will go away over night but he does care about finding out the cause of the pain and treating each pain as needed!!!!! But he's not gonna support all those dr shopper and druggie habits so be ready for drug test almost every time you come!!!!!

I began going to Dr Feldman in 2009. I had my first surgery in December of my that year. It was unsuccessful because in his words I didn't take enough out. Had 2nd surgery in March 2010 still believing in him to fix the problem. The outcome of this one was better. Still had numbness in legs after though. In Feb 2014 was scheduled far another. At that time his staff quit because of hostel work environment. I had numerous epidermal done and the last one he hit my scatica nerve. At that point I switched doctors just to find out that both surgeries were done wrong and has caused me permanent nerve damage. Just take my advice stay away. Although he is a good man and I loved talking with him he is a horrible doctor

I have been under Dr. Feldman's care for nearly a yr after loosing my (11yr)PM physician. As per a previous comment; the only "epidemic" takeing place in this country/state is regression in the treatment of CP. Thousands of patients are/have been loosing their CP doctors & this is over-whelming the existing doctors. In my experience with Dr. Feldman; he cautiously took me on as a patient (as well he should) & is very conservative w/medication. He uses a multi-disciplinary approach to treating pain. I personally witnessed a disgruntled patient who was turned away for faking a pain problem. So if you are looking for a naive Dr., you need not go here! Im blown away by the negative reviews! He's very informed about my multiple pain issues & gave me information about my prognosis that even my Ortho. never disclosed! WONDERFUL staff & physician!! Also: how can he ONLY be "in it for the money!", when he's #1 of the few who will take on uninsured patients! Truly a leader& ex. in the CP arena.

It's not the doctor's fault that all these people are abusing the medicine because if they don't get it from him they will get if from another doctor.

I laugh at the comments on here. I was there with my husband yesterday. Feldman has done nothing but make my husband worse, but my husband refuses to go to another doctor. The waiting room was filled with people. Only two of them seemed to be in any kind of pain. There were even a few who were giddy and smiling when they were walking out with their prescriptions. What a quack! I can't wait for him to get busted for handing out drugs like candy.
