I went to Dr. Klapper for the first time over a month ago. I found his office staff to be rather nice. He himself was terrific and I plan on keeping him as my gyn. He was very calm, listened thoroughly and made me feel comfortable. I usually go to female gyns, so that it was a relief not to feel at all uncomfortable.

Dr. Klapper is wonderful. He's one of the very few doctors that takes the time to know his patients very well, their needs, and preferences, and moreover protects their interests. I know this first hand. He explains everything very clearly with all possible options and supports his patients decisions. Yes, there is a tendency for his visits to move quickly, but if you need time with him just tell him and he will give it to you. He is the head of surgery at NY Downtown Hospital, so he is highly in demand.

Dr. Klapper is one of the best specialized surgeons in NYC for endometriosis, and extremely thorough in examinations administered - he's wonderful. He listens to all you concerns and gives you all your options in a clear and simplified manner. His bedside manner is kind and attentive, with gentle examinations, plus he has a sense of humor. I've never had any problems with him or medications he has prescirbed. I've referred other patients to him and all have come back with positive reviews. I would highly recommend Dr. Klapper to women who are seeking a GYN that's in the top of his field for regular GYN appointments, but especially women who are suffering from endometriosis.

He was very quick to do absolutely unnecessary procedure. Prescribed unnecessary medications and said that that medication would not interact with other medications I am taking… guess what? it does, big time!
