Dr. Pretorius Has been our family Doctor since he bought the practice. My children who have always and are now grown and have always seen him, continue going to him. My partner and I go to him exclusively. Unless it is an immediate emergency. Dr. Pretorius is very knowledgeable and helpful. Also, the things he does not know he does not pretend or wing it, he finds the answers or recommends you to someone that does. He is humble and honest when he does not know something he finds the right people and learns. He makes thoughtful and educated queries to understand your specific issues and resolutions for them. I do recommend him 100%.

I have had Dr. Pretorius as my Dr. For almost 20 years. He is amazing. My Granddaughter also goes too him too. She thinks he is great. Best Doctor I have ever had.

Great to get prescriptions from, but that is about all. Referrals take months and often find out he never tried to arrange at all. More interested in talking about himself than about patient. Has never taken my blood pressure or even my weight.

Rude , won't exam you just send off to someone else. Can't even do a simple check up,arrogant, snotty,$%#@&, check out his reputation in Saskatchewan lol .

He might be smart but he doesn't show it. He treats me and another family member like we are crazy and theres nothing wrong with us even though there clearly is. He just doesn't care. It surprises me to see him have 4.5 stars. I went in one day and he said to me "you've gotta stop doing this" and I dont understand why I should stop going to my doctor if I have problems with blurry vision. He makes me have anxiety about getting things that are wrong with me checked. He also talks about me to some of my family members and told one that he "does not understand why I keep going to him about it". He doesn't even move from his chair unless hes showing you out or grabbing a prescription from his printer(which is usually at the same time). He use to be a great doctor until I stopped showing up with my mom. I'm looking into finding a new family doctor because clearly he doesn't care.

He has helped our family so much. He kept pushing for diagnosis of my child when everyone else said it was in our heads. He listens and trusts mother's intuition. What he doesn't know, he refers to the people who can help, and takes time to find out the best specialists to refer you to.

Drug pusher. Bad at follow-ups. Does not understand the long term effects of medications. Impersonal, short, does not even exam you.
