Dana Ducote went to a less than one star medical school and does not have the education to be treating patients. She would be fine for nose bleeds or the common cold, but please do not trust your life with anything more important. We deserve better than an Appalachian Medical School doctor in Bigfork. The only reason she has been here so long is that she is the only woman who can deal with the very pompous Tom Jenko.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Ducote for the last three years. Both of us agree that she is one of the best physicians we’ve ever dealt with. Dr. Ducote is kind, patient and caring. She’s an excellent listener and very thorough in her exams. Her office staff is very efficient, personable and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Ducote and her practice.

I've been seeing Dr. Ducotte for a number of years now and I am very surprised by her poor ratings by others. I am impressed with her. She always seems knowledgeable about health topics that I'm concerned about. She is a great listener. Instead of rushing through a routine visit, she sits down and talks to me about my overall health and is encouraging and helpful. She asks lots of questions and seems genuinely interested in my health concerns. I appreciate the extra time she takes. She doesn't seem to be in a hurry. I really like Dr. Ducotte and am very satisfied with my care. I never wait for more than a few minutes to see her, but I find that is routine in Montana. The waits at medical offices, urgent care clinics or the ER are very reasonable compared to what I was used to in Southern California. Note: Bigfork Medical Clinic does charge significantly more now that KRMC has taken over the clinic, but that's NOT Dr. Ducotte's fault.

Not a competent Physician, nor a Patients' advocate. Very pleasant in office. Not enough education to honestly diagnose correctly nor ask the right questions of patient. OK for minor injuries or colds.

Would be better served by a veterinarian... It is very, very sad that this person is allowed to play at practicing medicine in our lovely community.

It is most difficult to understand why Dr. Dana Ducote is still practicing (or playing at practicing) medicine in Bigfork, Montana. She was to a less than one star medical school in the Appalachian Mountains because she was refused admittance to any of the one star or higher schools in the U.S. or Haiti. The woman is rude and aggressive for no good reason. Get this person out of Bigfork and send her to Yaak, Montana or anyplace other than Bigfork. We deserve a good female doctor in our lovely community. The word around Bigfork is stay away from Dr. Dana Ducote.
