Dr F was my doctor for 3 high risk pregnancies and reassured me and took the time throughout the pregnancies to minimize my stress & worry. Even after I had the baby and was no longer 'officially his patient' I ended up with mastitis and he called in a prescription for me from Ottawa where he was a speaker at a conference... I couldn't get a hold of my family doctor and yet he cared enough so many different times to go above & beyond. I am continually grateful that we were blessed to have Dr. F - he also understands the emotional side of losing a child since he lost a baby.

Dr. Farquarson took the time with each ultrasound I have had in my last two pregnancies and even returned an email I sent him within one day. I have never know a doctor to be so caring and concerned about each individual patient and baby.

Dr F is the greatest, he really cares about his patients and takes all the time you need. My pregnancies didn't always work out the way we had hoped and he was genuinely concerned about my healing process. You are lucky if you get to see this dr.

Both Dr Farquharson and his staff are excellent. He did a number of ultrasounds for me during my twin pregnancy and spent all the time I needed to explain what was going on. He also called me back within hours when I received a worrying ultrasound result from an appointment that he was not present at and reassured me. He is the best!

Dr. Farquharson is truly the most sincere and knowledgeable doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I am still blown away by his caring nature and the amount of time he used to spend with me at each appointment. When i think back on my life, I think Dr. Farquharson has been a person who helped bring back hope for me, something which cannot be undervalued. If you are able to have Dr. F as a doctor, you will be very lucky, he is a great person.

He delivered two of my children years ago, and was wonderful. To the gentleman below who may or may not have been falsely accused of violence towards his wife; we should be thankful that Dr F cares enough to even become involved in this issue. Most docs run in the other direction when confronted with suspicions of wife abuse. He did the right thing, and if the allegations are not true, be glad that he cared enough about your wife, to ask. That is more important than your bruised ego!

Had a rare opportunity to visit good old Dr. Duncan F. Farquharson with my wife doing a check up on our twins (due in two months). The good doctor was kind enough to corner me, my wife, and another doctor in an office. I assume the other doctor was there simply to act as a witness for the crap that was going to come out of Farquharson's mouth next. He sits us both down then 'wrongly' accuses me a having beaten my wife in the past. I was stunned and he again said he understood I "flashed to anger" and "beat my wife". I was stunned (and obviously angry), and my wife corrected him that he was wrong BUT the damage was done. He said he claimed that is what he understood on one of her previous visits. Then he tried to pass it off as a simple mistake by apologizing - an apology I will not accept. I can't imagine what he is going to get wrong in the delivery room!!!

Dr Farquharson is an excellent fetal medicine specialist. He takes time to answer all questions, is very knowledgeable and even called me to discuss results of an ultrasound that I had some questions on that had been ordered by a different doctor. His staff person is also very helpful.
