In 2016 Dr. Barry Sullivan performed a colectomy with ileorectal anastomosis, after I was diagnosed with colon cancer. He put my mind at ease, the surgery was successful. I can’t thank Dr. Sullivan enough.

Dr Barry Sullivan delivered what was hoped for. He is a specialist in his field. I was referred to him with a Stage 1 cancer which was successfully excised and due to his skill no chemo is required. After two weeks I was doing well; now after the recommended 8 weeks of healing I am as good as new. I can't say enough about his professional and kind attitude. Thank you, Dr Sullivan!

Dr. Barry Sullivan is a very personable surgeon. He has an excellent bed side manner and always makes time for you. I had colorectal cancer in 2010 which is when I met him . I knew that I had a good surgeon when other doctors referred to him as Mr. Magic hands. They were right, I just had a colostomy and he was my surgeon and he did not disappoint, Very highly recomend him. No problems with either surgery.

Before my most recent stay of hospitalization I had a chance to meet with Dr. Sullivan concerning a future surgery that I might have required. He stuck me at that time tobe one of the most intellgent and focused people I ever met. Then recently during my last in hospice stay Dr.Sullivan preformed a sugery on me that went very well! Thanks Dr, Sullivan for being a signifcant part of my Very complicated and lenghty stay in Hospital!

Everything you could want in a surgeon- caring, gentle, thorough & smart. Doesn’t rush you if you have questions. Very knowledgeable - he can “think on the fly” during surgery to find a “needle in a haystack” (something that was obviously wrong, but wasn’t big enough to be visible on a CT scan w/contrast) and fix it.
