I have been a patient of Dr. Rayl for over 10yrs. She has always been one of those Dr's that treat's disease by understanding and listening to the patient. She's incredibly smart when it comes to complex issues (she probably saved my wife's liver due to oversight from UW Medical Center)and this was because she takes the time to ask YOU questions about not only how your feeling but what's going on with your environment that might be causing you to be sick. I can't say enough good things about her if our medical system was run by Dr's like her there would be an increase in positive opinions regarding the health care systems in this country.

Having been a patient of Dr. Rayl's for over six years I can say that I am very pleased with the care I've received. I've been very fortunate to have had good health but within the last four years, have developed Diabetes. Dr. Rayl has helped me understand & treat my disease, & is continually doing research for new information that would aid in the management of my health. I feel that she is constantly looking out for my total well-being. Very important, also, is that she listens. I have often come in with a notepad & questions & she has always addressed each one. Not only does she listen to what I have to say but I know that her knowledge and depth of commitment is tremendous. One of the best characteristics that I noticed as her patient at Virginia-Mason (before she opened her private practice) was that she took time (not just the amount allotted by the clinic)to sit with me and discuss issues that were affecting my general health (stress, weight, sleep).

Dr Rayl is a very positive person. She has been very helpful with my medical issues. I appreciate that she is quick to refer me to a specialist if she thinks they might have a better breadth of knowledge to help my condition. The best Physician I have seen.

Dr. Rayl has been my physican for many years. She is delightful as a person, but since being in private practice her level of service has declined. She prefers to refer patients out to specialists rather than treat them herself. Her office is closed for many extended weekends, holidays and vacations, making prescription refills challenge (no "on call" physican to assist) It doesn't feel that she actually wishes to be involved with patient care. She still has a waitlist, so there's the door don't let it hit you on your way out!

By far the best Dr. I've ever had. She is very knowledgeable, caring and goes above and beyond, especially now that she is on her own and not driven by group policy or insurance companies. If you can somehow get on her waiting list, do so! (Her private practice and waiting list filled up quickly after word got out she went out on her own.)

I never felt that Dr. Rayl cared about me. During a flair up of a chronic condition, she refused to be involved in my care.

Dr. Rayl has cared for me for the last 2 years and 8 months. Without her empathy and knowledge I wouldn't have survived my terminal cancer this long. She sent me to the very best providers and is always there for me. She's unusually gifted. I feel very fortunate to know her.

Jeckyl and Hyde personality. Was very nice and helpful at first but not at subsequent visits. Won't go to this doctor anymore.
