Dr Wermuth was my pediatrician when I was a kid and then when my kids were born, he was there pediatrician! he actually closed down his office to go to the pharmacy to get some ipecac and bring it to my house because of the poisonous berries my daughter ingested when she was only 4 years old! he stayed and administered it to her and stayed until she stopped vomiting and her vitals were stabilized! and then he was there for me when I ended up with spinal meningitis! Dr Wermuth was always a compassionate man! he never overcharged me, he was always reasonable! I recommended him to all my friends!! Dr. Wermuth, thank you for being there for me all those years ago!!! I love you!!!

The office staff is terrible. They are rude and not helpful and always seem like you are bothering them when you ask a question. Dr. Wermuth is old school and doesn't seem like he know what he is doing most times. I did not feel comfortable with him and his medical advice. I would not recommend him or this practice.

Staff continually 'drops the ball' sending reports to other physicians office/insurance co.their lack of astuteness has cost us time money and more pain...for a knee operation to get done we have had to have 2 xrays ,bloodwork,MRI which took 3 weeks to set up because the DR.'s office did not send the insurance the additional form they requested and told US the insurance denied the request (the insurance co. DID NOT DENY...just needed more info.)...and then an eye exam prior to the MRI....now 18 hours before the operation,we were told that in the physical there was a glitch in the EKG so the Dr will not sign to advance w/ the operation UNTIL WE SEE A CARDIOLOGIST!!!.....in the mean time, the knee has gotten worse, the pain has gotten unbearable and the patient must resume work until the operation can be rescheduled as the cardiologist has no appointments for 1 week. The Dr. needs to find competent employees who follow thru and address incoming patient information in a timely manner.
