The knowledge and compassion of Dr. Sahni on a sale of 1-10 is a 15. He preformed both a craniotomy (1997)and gamma knife (2005) on my meningioma.

Dr. Sahni, Did everything he could to eliminate the pain on the right side of my face due to a dental injury. He was always on time and kind.

I saw Dr. Sahni in 2004 for a LARGE acoustic neuroma. While he did a good job (2 surgeries totalling 30 hours time), I was left w severe issues but do not fault him, no tumor was nasty. However, in the years to follow, I developed trigeminal neuralgia as the remainder of my tumor was compressing this nerve. I saw Dr. Sahni several times, just looking for pain relief. He did not refer me to a neurologist as he should have, and continued to prescribe pain medication. I would have taken anything to stop the pain, and should have been given non-narcotic meds. Not only did he keep prescribing them and they did not work, I continued to come back in pain. He LITERALLY threw his hands up in the air, opened the office door, and LOUDLY said "I do not understand why you keep coming back for pain meds" as if I was a med seeker. VERY embarassing, I vowed I would never see this man again. Several years later I went to Duke and they fixed my trigeminal neuralgia, with bedside manner to boot. Dr. Sahni seemed like the best man to operate on me, and perhaps that was true, but his aftercare is about 0% in my book.

Found Dr Sahni proffessionl and pleasant. He diagnosed immediately confirmed with MRI Trigeminal Neuralgia, Waited over 3 months for 2nd appointment at which time he sceduled Gamma Knife within 1 week. Post Procedure 1 month still have pain top of head and sore scalp . Followup appointment is not for another month. On day 23 NO more nerve pain. Received sudden relief. Have not been on any medicines previously so pain was everyday without relief. So pleased with results!! Highly recommend Dr Sahni.

Found Dr. Sahni to be extremely impatient, rude, arrogant, condescending, argumentative....etc. Ranks below zero for beside manner. Most definitely one of my worst encounters EVER with a doctor.

Dr. Sahni and his staff have bent over backwards for me. They patiently listened to, and answered our questions regarding Gamma Knife surgery. They've always been upbeat and kind whenever we've visited. I highly recommend Dr. Sahni.

My Name Is George Baughman. I was treated by Dr. K. SINGH Sahni in1982 at MCV for a cerebral hemorrhage of an anneurism.
Since my surgery, I am now about a 99% recovery.
He is the best surgeon in the world, in my estimation!
I don't believe that anyone could find unhappiness with this Doctor. He really cares about his patients, and kept my family in Chicago well informed at every phase of the lengthy stay at MCV.
I can't thank this man enough, and have made many attempts to give him an update.
I wonder if he ever thinks about me? I think about him every time the sun comes up,,and I awake to a new day!
Perhaps somehow he'll receive this, and then he will know, that this was a complete success!
God Bless You Doctor Singh!
Love Always!
George Baughman

I went to him after suffering 12 years with symptoms from a pituitary glanjd tumor my last appointment was cancelled while I was in his waiting room. I never got the results of all the incredible expensive tests he ordered. I was told by his nurse after all the waiting that my appointment was cancelled and that he would not be offering me the option to remove the tumor. I asked these doctors and the unlicensed doctors at the VA hospital if there was extra space in the human skull for tumors to grow they all answered no. Then I asked if there is no extra space for the tumor then it must be putting pressure on the pituitary gland the mayo clinic studies list the symptoms and I have them and I have been prescribed drugs for each of these symptoms so why can't I get a doctor to remove the tumor and see if the symptoms go away after all aren't doctors suppose to use their so called skills to heal patients????
