The doctor and the staff are rude. We had a prescription filled that our insurance did not want to pay for so the pharmacist filled something else and kept our original prescription. We tried to fill it again but couldn't I contacted the doctor and staff to refill the prescription and they accused me of losing it. Eventually they relented and called the pharmacy to fill the prescription. We do not intend on ever returning to this office.

For five years I complained to another Gynecologist about a pain in my groin. Dr. Chang is the only one that heard me! My complaint required surgery. As a result of the surgery more serious issues were eliminated and the need for more extensive surgery. It would not have been so bad had the other Dr. did something as simple as an Ultrasound and exploratory surgery. I had HMO insurance at the time! That may be why the other Dr. wouldn't do more testing! I thank Dr. Helen Chang for listening to me.

During my first pregnancy I was struggling with chronic yeast infections for which Dr. Chang prescribed medication. The medication helped but I still felt discomfort so she took a look and just by looking diagnosed me with hepes!!! No blood work, nothing! It caused me a great deal of emotional distress, I cried, I fought with my husband. how could this be?!! We had both saved ourselves for marriage. Dr. Chang said herpes of the mouth sometimes jumps to the genitals. additionally, She went on vacation without so much as a cortesy call or email and arrived 6 hours after I had given birth with complications because the attending doctor kept delaying my admittance because Dr. Chang was "due to return soon. From her vacation" All in all a horrible experience topped off by the fact that her staff called me to tell me that I could no longer be a patient because I hadn't paid 1 copay $20. I paid it and never looked back!! Worst OBGYN ever!!! worst office staff ever!!!! My new OBGYN ran blood work to test me for STD's turns out I don't have herpes after all, she misdiagnosed me and caused me a great deal of emotional distress during what should have been a happy time. I will never forgive her for that or recommend her to anyone.

She gave me the pill to induce period after doing ultrasound while I'm 2-month pregnant. She didn't send me for a pregnancy blood test. What kind of a doctor is that. She doesn't know a simple procedure to detect pregnancy.

I went to Dr chang for my first pregnancy, the expierence was horrific! she told me that it was safe to have sex after i told her i was bleeding. she ran tests and told me they couldnt see a baby, then she told me that there was a baby that it was stuck in my tubes.. which wasnt true. I aultimately had a miscarriage, and when I called her crying, her response was "crying isnt gonna bring your baby back!" I was very depressed! she is very uncaring and unprofessional! and it seemed that all she cared about was the co pays! I klnow this might be wrong but I do blame her for the lose of my baby. I would never refer her to anyone! she is heartless.

She is very business like so don't expect anything less. But she has delivered two babies for me and she is the BEST. I am planning on a third with her soon.

Dr. Chang is a very knowledgeable doctor. While she isn't a fuzzy, hold your hand type, I had complete confidence in her during my last preganancy. I chose to bank my baby's cord blood, and Dr. Chang was extremely familiar with the procedures involved and had even toured two of the most popular banks. She was also familiar with and open to some homeopathic treatments for alleviating pregnancy discomforts and for beginning labor. I liked her small office size (it's just her). She and her staff knew me well, and I knew it would be she delivering my baby.

I agree with most the other reviewers on this site. I have good insurance that has good coverage, but I always felt like Dr. Chang only cared about collecting co-pays and her overall compensation. The first words out of her mouth were always about money or insurance. When I called to ask about blood tests or any other testing, she would always want me to come in and pay my co-pay first!
