Just the best. Helpful, patient , answers all my questions. Conservative approach. Does not rush into surgery.

I don't care if a doctor is moody or anything else, I just want a doctor that knows what he is doing. This is my back, my life line. Dr. Marano taught me more about my condition in my first appointment than the last 3 doctors did in 3 months. He knows what he is doing, and to me he was very pleasant.

Dr Marano performed an acdf surgery on my neck. So far so good. I go on to have my 6 week follow up soon. Dr Marano seems to be knowledgable about what he is doing and takes time to answer your questions.

I haven't had an appt. with him yet, but I am very appreciative of the fact that he will accept Medicaid patients. I was first referred to another neurosurgeon, but he would not take Medicaid.

Dr Marano was very helpful and got me through a life threatening accident and 2 surgeries. He reconstructed a serious back injury in a way that has allowed me to (13 years after the accident) function in a semi-normal manner in an occupation requires above average physical ability. I will continue to use his services and would not hesitate to send close family and friends to be treated by Dr Marano. I will always be thankful to Dr Marano and his helpful staff.

Marano's office left me suspended in fear for over a week waiting to find out when he would have time to see me for my recently diagnosed (& possibly fatal)brain tumor. They did not refer me to anyone or give any suggestions. I finally found Dr. Cach on my own, & thank God I did, he is awesome. Also a few years later when Dr. Cach performed my back surgery and then was on vacation. Marano was filling in for him and was t do his rounds. I had to stay in the hospital an extra day for no reason other than Marano did not come in to do rounds in the morning and put me off despite many phone calls asking him to come up.I didn't get to leave until 8 that night when he finally decided to show up. When he did he had a total lack of personality and seemed moody and grouchy.

Was 1 hour + 40 minutes late for the appointment (he was at lunch). Allowed PA to diagnose problems. Had little in helpful advice.
