If you have a problem, he refers you to the best doctors. He has done colonoscopies on me without problems at South Shore Hospital.

I had a colonoscopy with this MD at Quincy Medical Center. I woke up during my procedure yelling "please stop". Very in-human, no professional anesthesia .. just the nurse pushing the drugs. My husband wasn't allowed in the recovery room because of "HIPPA" and when it was time to get dressed I was taken to a bath, handed my bag of clothes and left alone. I came out waited for someone and then started to walk the hallway myself to look for my husband. I finally found him and we walked out of the hospital. I don't even trust that this man did what needed to be done, I was in pain for 3 days after the procedure. I felt like I was waiting to get a back alley abortion. I would stay away from the MD and the hospital if they can't do any better than this.

Switched from Dr.Schwartz to Dr. Sipzener, Big mistake, he's worst. I had a 4 bowel obstructions and he told me it was because I ate to much food. Well I pushed for an upper GI, I had an almost completely closed section of intestine.Needless to say I had a bowel resection. My surgeon hooked me up with another GI Doctor from Boston Medical. SO stay as far away from Dr. Sipzener if you have real health issues.

My husband had a critical value on an echocardiogram but this MD cleared him for gall bladder surgery. Thank goodness he happened to have a follow up with a cardiologist 3 days before scheduled surgery and was sent to Boston to have open heart surgery instead! Needless to say, he is no longer my husband's primary physician.

I had a procedure done today by this doctor. He didn't hardly sedate me at all! Because of the low blood pressure, he said he couldn't do too much. I had a gastroctomy and before I got there I was in tremendous pain. Didn't help not being sedated. Also I had this procedure done by another doctor. At least when he could find a vein, wasn't afraid to give me enough to make me comfortable, not like today. Also he would spray the throat to numb it. This doctor this is the second time he did it and he had no spray, just stuck the tube down my throat and moved it up and down even though my stomach was full of blood. I am sure glad that I didn't get a colonoscopy done, I figured I would see what happened today if he could sedate me enough. I am ready to give up on doctors because of this experience!
