My wife and I have wanted a to have a family together since we first met. We began our journey with 16 months of trying naturally, only to have the anxiety and fear grow each and every day. As the possibility of having children of our own dwindled, my depression grew. Infertility was something that I never even considered would hit so close to home. After several unsuccessful rounds of Clomid while working with our OB, we were referred to Yale and found ourselves sitting in Dr. Seifer’s office for our consultation. He explained that IVF would be our best chance. We left that meeting confident that we had found the right doctor. One year later, we’re nearly three months pregnant and feel outrageously blessed as our journey continues! Dr. Seifer and our nurse, Patty O’Neil, are amazing. They are both experts in their fields and are also compassionate, professional, and just flat out on top of everything! We know we would not be in our current state of elation if not for these two people. After that first meeting with Dr. Seifer, my wife and I read many online reviews about him and his staff. My goodness, it feels great to be the one finally writing one.

I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Seifer. After enduring two years of infertility and defying all odds, we're pregnant, and we have him to thanks. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and diminished ovarian reserve, which can be extremely difficult to treat. IVF was our only option. We started treatment soon after meeting Dr. Seifer. Throughout our treatment, he was compassionate, knowledgable, and professional. He earned our trust immediately. We worked closely with him and Patty O'Neil, his nurse practitioner, at both the Westport and New Haven locations. They're a great team, and their concern for us and our success was always evident. At the end of our third cycle, my husband and I relocated from Connecticut to North Carolina. Dr. Seifer and Patty continued to follow up with me regularly, tracking my pregnancy every step of the way. They've shared our joy, and they have been a constant source of knowledge and support. I will forever be grateful to them for making our dreams a reality. If you're suffering from infertility, you're not going to find a better reproductive endocrinologist. Dr. Seifer is the best of the best.

Dr. Seifer has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is thorough when explaining the process, procedures and expected outcomes. He has a sweet demeanor and is the upmost professional. Patricia O’Neill, Nurse Practioner is a dream come true. She is detail oriented and is understanding of how overwhelming the process can be. She stands by her words when she says she is always available to answer questions and gets the process moving. The office staff and nursing staff was just as amazing – from getting insurance information completed and approved to having blood work done without the feel of the needle!

Dr was awkward with strange demeanor. He wasn’t honest about my diagnosis, did 3 IUI with this doctor and no success. He didn’t care and no suggestion. Do not wasn’t your time, find a real specialist

I have to say I had the best experience with Dr. Seifer! I have 2 beautiful twins and my husband and I owe that to his experience and gentleness! He is a true Gentle man! He was patient with us when we had so many questions! He is truly a very professional Doctor !

Dr. Siefer is hands down, the best doctor you can possibly work with. I do not agree that he pushes IVF, we talked about the option and realized it was not for us, and he did not push back. He actually worked with us and our insurance to ensure we were taken care of. He works magic and eases your mind throughout the fertility process. Thank you, Dr. Siefer!

I think I do have a clue as to what I am saying since it was my experience. Like I said my experience was not a good one. Maybe yours was better. "Person below me". Dr seifer might have success with ivf but he pushes it way to often. For my situation it was not needed and he would have made me go through an unnecessary expensive process.

The person below me has no clue what they are saying. They are not informed and their comments should be deleted as it serves as an injustice to any individuals experiencing infertility. Genesis is by far the most competent clinic and I would fly to Oregon to continue to receive Dr. Seifer's services. He takes pride in his profession and is a godsend.

People shouldn't criticize other people's reviews. Not everyone is going to have the same experience. I did not have a good experience with dr. seifer. He didn't even sit down at the appointment. He stood behind his desk. he had an attitude because I asked 1 simple question about vitamins. He insisted that I needed IVF with icsi. I am sure that most people would conceive using IVF but why not start small then work your way up. He basically said ok see you later contact my financial department so we can get started. Anyway I left there, found a new doctor and after some time and patience I am now pregnant with twins from IUI.
