My son was in a very serious motor vehicle accident, and he told my injured son that he would not be required to stay in the hospital overnight, unless the surgery end too late, then maybe one night. He said "we can't keep you in the hospital for a cut leg." Are you freaking kidding me, Dr. Socransky. Did you even look at his leg. He did require 8 days in pediatrics and then 2 more months of recovery at home, with his surgeon continuing to see him for follow-up, then 3 months of physiotherapy. That was the most incompetent statement I've ever heard from a doctor. Did you even look at his injury???? What did you see...His surgeon saw an avulsion the size of a football, with a piece of bone missing and a damaged petella tendon. He was in a cast then brace for 3 months. Go back to med school.
