Dr. Marcoux delivered our MonoDi twins by C-section. We entered the hospital because of high blood pressure at 36 weeks. She decided to keep us overnight for observation knowing delivery was close. The water broke in the middle of the night in the hospital bed. Dr. Marcoux performed the C-section at 7am less than 60 min after the water broke. The twins and the mother are doing well - two weeks later. Dr. Marcoux is an excellent surgeon.

I visited Dr Marcoux for a 2nd opinion because I know she is highly esteemed. She was knowledgeable, knew her stuff, and even though there wasn’t much more she could do to help, I just wanted to meet her to ask for other available options about my health issue. What I did not expect, was a very rough and rude attitude, to be asked repeatedly “what do you want from me” and “why are you here”, when I was there for a reasonable and logical reason. I don’t know if this is just her usual tone, but it was disrespectful. I felt like I was wasting her time even though I have legitimate concerns and pain. Very different than what I read in other reviews.

First I am old enough to know that waiting is totally normal when going to OB GYN appointments , and especially any apt in hospitals where they do in patient care as well so waiting is not a factor for me. This Dr is kind, humorous, takes time to explain things and shows genuine interest in the patient and their lives. She is wonderful and I am grateful she is my Dr. Wish there were more like her.

Très humaine medecin gynecologue, accommodante pour aller vers les valeurs de sa patiente meme si j'ai un cas tres complexe elle va chercher les traitements et les ajustes pour m'aider au meilleur.

Je trouve que ce médecin se situe quelque part sur le spectre de l'autisme. Elle manque de compétences interpersonnelles (mauvais contact visuel, ricanements lors de la discussion de sujets sensibles, attribution d'une étiquette négative etc.) Pour elle, vous n'êtes qu'un numéro et les longs délais d'attente ne la dérangent absolument pas. Il est regrettable que les médecins qui ont participé à sa formation médicale l'aient laissée continuer. Elle est peut-être un atout pour l'hôpital pour lequel elle travaille parce qu'elle leur apporte de l'argent, mais elle n'est certainement pas un atout pour les patients qu'elle est censée aider. Je déconseille fortement ce médecin.
