This is one of the worse doctors I have ever encountered at the Ajax Pickering Hospital. He has absolutely no bedside manner. While we were there he blew his nose and did not wash his hands, he then wanted to touch the patient. One he saw my face he took out a pair of gloves and put them on. He is extremely rude and totally ignores you when you try to speak to him. He is definitely not knowledgeable. He should not be working in an Emergency facility. He looks very dirty and totally unprofessional. I would never return to that hospital. I hope they try to hire doctors that are not substandard in the future. Any doctors coming from overseas should be fully trained before working with patients.

I was sent to emerg by a walk in doctor for blood in my urine and pain in my upper quadrant that ran into my back also pain in my lower abdomen. I was told that a previously requested C.T. Scan (done by my family doctor) should have been done serveral weeks earlier and that I needed to have it done A.S.A.P. When I finally saw Dr. Abouraja in the E.R. he hemmed and hawed about even doing the C.T. scan even though some of my pain had been going on for over a year (to which he rolled his eyes at me when I shared that information). He also ordered an ultrasound to look at my gallbladder and I don't have a gallbladder! I told him that and he still put the requisition through anyway with specific requestes on the form to look at my gallbladder!! He doesn't listen, he is cocky and rude and has a serious attitude problem! Not sure why he is a doctor as he surely doesn't know how to do the job!!
