I just read the reviews of dr.hwang. They are all so very negative. I just came from his office (my first visit and last ). He is a very rude Dr. and not helpful, or listening to you at all. I don't see how he keeps any patients at all. I guess he does not care though.

I was referred to Dr. Hwang by a Doctor I trust. I can't believe he has any idea what goes on in that ofc. The ofc staff is rude and unfriendly. Dr. Hwang's bedside manner is -0. I have never met a person as arrogant. If you ask him anything about your condition he goes south and told me that he could recommend someone else for me to see. I thought it was just me having an off day since it was my 1st visit. He instructed me to see 5 different doctors, phy therpy, neurosurgeon, oncologist, vascular, sleep study, mri, ct scan and 1 of them had a bedside manner of 4. I had to go thru emer. for my sciatic nerve and was told to follow upo w/my doctor. I made an appt w/Dr. Hwang that took 10 days. He was rude, told me that I didn't need to see him anymore and referred me to 5 more doctor. Why would I want to see anyone he referred me to when we terminated the patient-phys relationship. God is good...it only took 3 visits. I feel sorry for his patients. You can get abuse anywhere for free.

SO NOT recommended. Hwang has ZERO bedside manner and a unfriendly disgruntled unprofessional rude staff. I have seen him for 4-5 office visits and 4 lower back injection procedures over the last 4 years. I'll never step foot in his office again. He is easily the rudest, most unprofessional Doctor I've ever seen. He doesn't communicate directly so you are forced to deal with his horrible staff. I'd rather be in pain that deal with any of them again. 0 on a scale of 1-10.

Dr. Hwang..his way or the highway. I tried to get a prescription renewed and it took over a week and many calls and emails to finally get it filled. One of his staff was extremely rude to my pharmacy clerk. I have finally had it and am going to new drs. Dr.Hwang was treating me for back pain and was very good at that, and sleep apnea. I hate to have to change but he is always at least an hour behind and can be very arrogant. Not taking a few seconds to give an ok for my meds that helped with my pain was inexcusable. Good Luck to anyone seeing Dr. Hwang. This is my opinion and I have had some good experiences with him as well as the not so plesant.

This was my first visit to Dr. Hwang's office. Before I ever met him, his staff destroyed the HIPA law. A lady and her elderly parents came into the office. The lady was trying to get some ppwk filled out. She asked to speak to the receptionist privately (as the receptionist spoke in a loud, stern tone thru the window to a very small waiting area). The receptionist refused to allow the woman to come back to speak with her privately and ultimately stated the patient's diagnosis of alzheimer's disease. The tone and unprofessionalism made me not want to see the dr.; but, since they had already charged my CC, I decided to give him a chance. After waiting well over an hour to see the dr., he only referred me back to my dr. - who, by the way, is a great dr.; but, not a neurologist and is far from me. He said my dr. would better be able to prescribe my meds. I was in search of a neurologist. If you have a good dr. keep him/her! My PCP referred me to Dr. Hwang - Not good!

This is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever heard of. He has terrible ratings also on my3cents.com, and I see why. My mom had a visit today for the first time and it was horrible. She is 69 yrs old and was there over 3 hours long and had only seen the dr once-and that was for him to tell her to undress. Not punctual at all!!! After she said she could no longer stay and said she would reschedule, he told her she needed to do it now, while she was in office. She explained to him she couldn't do that because there were other dr appts she had and she didn't want to to overlap. He told her if she couldn't reschedule it while she was there, he would not be able to have her as a patient. WHAT IN THE WORLD!!! Is this man crazy or what!! What ever happened to bedside manners or did he fail that course? Needless to say, she won't be going back there. Everything here is factual...and can be proven. Please do your research on doctors, even if you have a referrel...do the rsh.

I asked two specific questions before making the appointment. "Do you take Humana Medicare, and does Dr. Hwang do powerchair evaluations?" His receptionist response was yes to both questions. Dr. Hwang met with my granmother, and after discussing her symptoms to him, he then tells her he does not do powerchair evaluations. I told him that our entire purpose for the appt was to have a powerchair evaluation. I was polite when I asked for my grandmother's money back. He told me that he would give me the money back and remove her from his files, but when I said okay, thank you, he became upset and started to tell us he would like us to leave his office now. I was trying to move her wheel chair and my two kids as fast as I could, and he then insisted to come out to the waiting room to explain to her that he was removing her from his files and he wanted nothing to do with either one of us. Dr. Hwang, is one of the few unprofessional doctor's I have ever encountered. The nurses/snacks were great
