Dr. Shuffett is a great plastic surgeon. I went to him for a brow lift, upper eyelid lift and liposuction. He takes the time to explain the procedures to you in depth, and he makes sure that you understand everything. He is the type of surgeon who will make you look natural, as opposed to looking like "youve had work done." I also have two friends who have gone to him for breast implants, and they both were very happy with their results. His staff is fabulous, too. I would highly recommend Dr. Shuffet, and if I decide to have any other procedures done in the future, I will definitely go back to him.

I am a former employee and very satisfied patient of Dr. Shuffett. He has done two operations on me with excellent results. Dr. Shuffett is extraordinarily dedicated, often working six or seven days a week. He will do whatever it takes to make a patient happy. I was troubled by the negative post from April 2007 since I vividly remember that patient. In my opinion, she had good results but was unrealistic, inappropriate, and bizarre. She caused a great deal of stress in the office. Bottom line, Dr. Shuffett is an excellent plastic surgeon with a fantastic staff and he gets consistently superb results.

I read a negative comment on Dr. Shuffett and had to write and tell you that she couldn't be farther from the truth!!! He is a fantastic dr. and has had great results...just ask other dr.'s and Hairdressers (as they have seen it all) I have had surgeries with great results......he is soo caring and even made a housecall, who does that in this "day and age?" I have had many friends, who could well afford to go anywhere and they have chosen Dr. Shuffett with great results..His staff is so wonderful and caring and why would you ever condsider anyone else??.......

I was married to a Plastic Surgeon here in San Diego for 20 years (tough job) so I know a lot about it. I chose Dr. Shuffiett because other doctor's wives go to him and I had seen a few of his past surgeries where the women looked great! I had both upper eyelid surgery and a tummy tuck done at the same time. Both operations had outstanding results. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a serious doctor, fair prices and great results.

I went to him for a U/L bleph because I had too much skin. He said I needed a corregator cut and he would do it for free--I should have seen a red flag when he said that but I was naive. After he was through I had sunken brows, a ptosis, sagging lower eyelids, hollow upper and lower lids because he removed too much fat. He also left me with a numb eyebrow by cutting a nerve, dry eye. He did a revision later and after I had already complained about too much fat being taken out from the left eye, he took more fat out of the right eye without even informing me until after the procedure. He is in denial and says his surgery was an improvement. When I complained to him, his way of dealing with it was to dismiss me as a patient. I don't know about other surgeries he does, but his eye surgery leaves much to be desired. Kaiser Permanente has done two surgeries already to fix the mess he made of my eyes and I face more in the future.
