Reading the comments it reminds me of other people who have had Dr. Asher. I think it really depends on your personality when it comes to an OB. I LOVE Dr. Asher..he delivered my 2nd and 3rd children by csection. He's very non-chalant about everything (i'm a sarcastic person myself). If you have a question he will take the time to explain it (i questioned him about antibiotics while pregnant and a tubal ligation). My csection was FLAWLESS and healed very fast WITHOUT infection. He also allows me to bring my children to the appt. He doesn't mind and one time I didnt bring them he asked me where they were and how they were doing. When i first had him, I didnt really like him but after i established a relationship with him he's great! I trust him.

Dr Asher performed the surgery to deliver 2 of my children by c-section....HE WAS AMAZING. Not only do I not have a visible scar from the verticle incision but when my 3rd child was born (he was away) the surgeon commented that his work was so good I could have had 8 children by section if I so chose too. I also want to add that Dr. Asher was very kind to me. I got pregnant when I was quite young and he treated me with the same respect he would any other woman...without judgement. He reminded me on every visit that I was up to the task and was going to be a great mother. Not only did I appreciate it but I am still touched by his manner. Cudos Dr. Asher....I will always be a fan.

Dr.Asher delivered me when I was born. He also delivered my first son. I could have had a natural labour but he was overheard saying he wanted to get out of there by 2:00pm..so I was induced. Horrible experience, but he got his wish, my son was born at 1:58pm. He uses too many medical terms when speaking to you and when you ask him to explain, he simply mumbles. I had to go back for my 2nd child to have a foley catheter put in. He put it in wrong and I thought I was in labour..contractions less then a minute apart...turns out it was pressing on my cervix instead of helping me dialate...all that pain for nothing. I absolutely refuse to be treated by him again...Many more problems but there is just not enough space on here.

I was delivered by Dr.Asher almost 21 years ago, and would go to him when I have children (provided he's still practicing) My dad has praised him until the day he died. When my mom was giving birth, there were many complications. Other doctors told me I was likely to have died. Dr.Asher looked at my dad and said "get out" and paced around thinking what to do. He ended up delivering me in perfect health. Maybe he has a bad attitude, but when I'm deep in thought about something that important, I'm sure most people would react the same way. He knows whats best, he knows what he's doing, and he does everything right to ensure the health of a child. I don't know why anyone would be upset at a doctor for caring solely for the well being of your child.

I had a vaginal hysterectomy performed by Dr Asher because of a prolapsed uterus. Dr Asher explained the procedure before surgery fully and ordered an ultrasound to determine the location of the uterus in respect to my bladder and bowel. I found Dr Asher to be very knowlegable and a very good surgeon. Post op went very well also with no complications. Dr Asher is a very good Doctor. Thanks.
