She definitely needs to work on her bedside manner. She was incredibly rude and acted as if she was to good to be seeing us.

Dr. Hoffman was extremely rude! I am still astonished on how rude she was, she made me feel like I was bothering her by just being there! She was no help what so ever, I went to her for a 2nd opinion on my foot in which was injured years ago. She made me feel stupid for being hurt, it was an on-going injury that seems to just hurt. For her to look at me and say "I do not know what to tell you! What do you want me to do?" Was horrible on her part, I came to you for advice as to what I should do and yet you as me what you should do? Help me, that's all I want. You are the doctor, you have the degree, not me! Learn some bed side manners. Stop being so snooty and rude! I want to go to a different doctor but I can't. I still can't believe how rude this doctor was, be nice to your patients!!!

I have seen Dr. Hoffman once before, years ago, for tendonitis. I decided to go back to her for plantar fasciitis. After waiting over an hour in the waiting room both times, I then had to wait 30 more minutes in an appointment room. The first time I saw her for plantar fasciitis, she did x- rays and explained the diagnosis to me in minimal detail. The whole I felt as if I was being rushed out the door. She answered my questions but was rude about it. My last appointment was a follow up for my feet. She walked in and said, "So why am I seeing you?" She hadn't even looked at my chart. She never once looked at my feet during the whole visit (which is why I was there). After telling me a cast was the only option this point, I took a second to think it over. She said, "Look, do you want the cast or not. I need to tell them." I agreed and she left he room without answering any of my questions. I had to have a nurse track her down to answer my questions and she only answered one, before walking away. The way she spoke was very snotty and I felt as if I were a bother to her by being there. Very rude and insulting in the way she speaks to her patients. I am calling to switch to a different doctor.

Terrible bed side manner. I agree with all the comments on here about her snotty attitude and acting like she couldn't be bothered. I brought my daughter to her and will be taking her to my dr going forward. Luckily I have great insurance and many choices and will not be going back to this one! Upset I wasted my time with her or gave her any money for it.

I feel relieved to see other people have had the exact same experience we had with Dr. Varquez-Hoffman. She has TERRIBLE bedside manner and was a complete waste of time and money. We spent months going in and each time she had an attitude and was pushing us out the door. After months of what seemed like random treatments, xrays, MRI's etc., she told my husband "there is nothing wrong with you." How disappointing when clearly there is something wrong otherwise why did she have him go through all of those treatments? I believe she gave up and didn't want to try and find out what was wrong, or she just doesn't know because she isn't qualified to be handling this sort of work. She had no apologizes and pulled us in (with a $40 co-pay which may not be a lot for some but is a lot for us) just to tell us that. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT going to Dr. Varquez-Hoffman, unless you have money you plan to waste and pain you don't plan on healing.

Complete waste of time and money. She had a snotty attitude that was completely uncalled for, and did not help in at all.

Love this practice but am now second-guessing my decision to see ANY doctors there as Dr. V-H paid no attention to anything I said. Seems to basically be running a shop to get the high cost of orthotics paid by insurance. Stuck now with orthotics that not only did not help with my pain but do not actually fit in shoes. When I returned to pick them up was pretty much told I had signed a waiver that once they were made I had bought them. Well, okay, but perhaps I expected they would actually fit in a shoe? How silly of me! It's doctors like these that make you want to be able to have your insurance company dispute the cost of paying them since they do nothing.

Infected ingrown toe nail. Last podiatrist hurt me so bad the experience was unbearable. Dr. Hoffman was very understanding, very patient and almost pain free. She actually gave me a mild sedative so I could relax. Then reclined me so I could not watch. During the 3 injections she sprayed a numbing agent which brought the pain level from a 10 to about a 3. Since she did a permanent procedure I will not suffer on that toe again.
