I cannot give enough praise and be thankful enough that I'm able to have
Dr. Hove as my GP. During our phone conversations she is very thorough in any analysis, testing or any concerns I have with my health. It's a bonus that I don't have to travel over 2 hours every time I need to see her. The reality on Prince Edward Island Healthcare is to have any access to a doctor in a timely manner. My only concern is that she works too much trying to see as many patients as possible. We know that General Practitioners are scarce and many Islanders still do not have a family doctor. We need our Healthcare System to allow our Physicians the freedom to advise as many patients as possible is to do able to either in person or over the phone to make their time as efficient as possible.

she needs to be investigated is she really a doctor never see in patient care time to cut her loose and might as well just use the maple app. It sounds like she just does refers and wants to cash in bye bye time to go. we need real doctors who actually go to work and see people.

Provided a report by stating I have ADHD. Said I would have to be retested. Had to get a second opinion at a walk in clinc to get medication that I needed to focus at work. Made a formal complaint to PEI college of physicians as she clearly did not review the report and just wanted referral money.

Good and hard working doctor who despite insane working conditions with soooo many patients, long hours,mediocre staff and the blatent racism of some islanders , she has chosen to stay and care for us and our families.

Dr, Hove is caring, knowledgeable, diligent. Because of a shortage of doctors in western PEI during the pandemic she took on a large case load and worked very long hours. The protocols she required to make it possible for her to manage her practice -- for example, calling in to be put on an appointment list between certain morning hours -- are entirely understandable under these extraordinary circumstances . I met with her in person when necessary but she did conduct most of her consultations over the phone. I am very grateful to her, and also I appreciate the kind calm caring manner of her outstanding office staff.

First appointment went great! Most caring and supportive doctor I’ve ever had. Looking forward to working on stabilizing my health conditions with her in the appointments to follow!

I really dont think this person is an actual doctor. She does not see patients in person. The only thing she does is write prescriptions and referrals. She's only in it for the money, overbooks and spends 2 min on the phone with you. She is taking advantage of our health care system and should be sent back to her country with her husband that pretended to be a doctor. Nothing but scammers.

No call waiting, no voice mail. Called 210 times to book an appointment today. All I got was busy signal or no answer. This Doctors office makes zero effort to be accessible to thier patients.

I was very disappointed with Dr. Hove. When I try to get through the line it is impossible. They are like the Castle by Franz Kafka. They are working to make the almighty dollar at the expense of people's health.

Lisa the secretary is rude. Hangs up before your done talking. Dr hasn't seen patients in over 3 years. Sad this is what we have here. Dr will write and renew rx. That's it. Prescription writer is all she is. That's what she does. If your sick forget it. Wait weeks for a phone call. Ridiculous
