Di not work at ALL with my insurance as someone else has stated. That comment made me laugh out loud. The rest of my review will be mailed directly to the Dr. This was a disgraceful and disheartening episode. IV cocktails, hormone treatments, plasma therapy, CBD at $120/bottle (maybe 3 weeks worth of dosing)- all out of pocket charges. At hundreds of dollars per..uh, no more need be said.

Dr. Turok is unprofessional to the highest degree, and I sincerely question his overall knowledge and ability. Beware. Steer clear.

I went Dr. Turok for pain from accident in certain areas of the body, and his concern seemed to be fixed on something else in other visits. I have been seeing this doctor over several months. The first visit he asked questions, and he did not have his computer or laptop in the room, and allowed me to answer, and he did not go over his findings or diagnosis with me or his suggested recommendations with me. I found out later by asking for the notes. On subsequent visits, over the last several months, he only had his laptop or computer with him once in the room to input my information and my supposedly my answers to his questions. I have not spent more than five minutes with him alone, I eventually started asking for the notes because, he says he is going to do something in front, and then totally says something different in his notes, and he does not state all of what I expressed to him in his report, and he seems to be agitated with me because I don’t accept a certain treatment at this particular time. There office does not ask every time how one’s pain level is, but ask how are you doing or what are you going to do for the day or weekend. Also, one of the doctors for treatment does not have his notes ready the same day of visit, sometimes it would take several days before it was ready, and also, he does not correctly state in his notes how I said something. Some of the staff needs to be concerned about how the form of treatment(s) is adding and is making the pain worse, and that the patient is not crazy, and the doctor should stop when a patient says that is enough or you can see that it is causing to much pain, and if the doctor continues treatment without stopping, he can add further pain and damage, what then? All because the doctor or doctors felt that you’re exaggerating, and it is all in your head.

Went with a friend who suffers from migraine. This doctor is all about money. Very rude and disrespectful. The waiting area is an advertising room for all kind of IV cocktails. Extremely fishy

Doctor Turok is a excellent professional and a extraordinary human being, he don't let you down always ,always He and his staff are ready to help you , excellent work with the insurances, thank you Doctor Turok I felt my knee zero pain ,you resolved my problem in one day a mean en 15 minutes .

This is the worst doctor I seen so far.
Very arrogant!
What a waste of time!
I have dizziness and can’t function normally
He did not Realtor.com even tested me, just briefly looked at the eyes and said follow the pen
That is it!

Said the the tests will be performed by the stuff in the office but not him!!!!
And as per the office stuff the test can’t be scheduled before 2 weeks from the office visit as insurance not going to cover it!!!
What a Joke !
Called the insurance and they told me it is not true!!
Stuff and doctor is very unprofessional!
Turok said that his physical therapist can do vestibular therapy but apparently he was not trained to do it at all ( as he told me himself)

Wanted me to do the ultrasound if the arteries but there person only comes one time a month

Asked him to give me the RX to see another ultrasound office- refuses to do so

I would stay away from this office
Going to complain about this doctor:(

Spends less than 5 mins with my wife on each appointment. Wants to give playlet injections at $5,000 per shot. With 3 visits at 5 mins each- how could he make any meaningful suggestions, opinions or advice. Oh, he also stayed that she needed a back brace - but her back was not the reason we went to him. We refused to have Medicare pay for something that was not needed. My advice- find another doctor.

After beginning treatment with him, I stopped wishing I was dead all the time. He LISTENS and then does what he can to find out what's wrong and work with you to find the best treatment plan for you working within the limitations of your insurance. His staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and do their best to maneuver through all the crazy changing insurance and legal rules and regulations to ensure your continued care as best they can while putting up with patients who tend toward the cranky side already due to severe chronic pain. Yes, the agreement to follow his rules regarding certain prescriptions including permission for various seeming extreme measures if abuse is suspected are necessary since one person abusing the system can destroy his entire practice and hurt the many people he helps. He is on your side and both he and his staff work hard with you to remain there.

Dr. Turok is excellent in his field. He makes sure that you are not in pain while he attempts to find the right medicine or procedure to resolve your problem. I went to Dr. Kost in West Hartford for probably 10 years and he was all about the$$$. I could write a book about his unprofessionalism!
