The best doctor I have ever had. He takes the time to listen to my concerns, I never feel rushed and I always feel heard and understood. His confidence always gives me hope that I will get better and he always has a positive outlook on my condition.

Visited him after waiting a very long time to get an appointment, only for him to say "you'll just have to live with it." No real explanation as to how/why he got to this conclusion. No compassion shown. Absolute waste of money and time to make the visit only to hear this from a doctor (any doctor). Went to another doctor and got an actual diagnosis, with reasoning behind it, and was able to treat my issue with a more natural approach-- given that this was the best course for my situation.

I left Dr.Henry Chung's office upset, uncared for, and literally hopeless about my situation. If you're looking for a doctor with a heart that actually shows he cares about the patients and tries to help no matter what, I'd probably go ahead and choose/request another. This was my experience, I wouldn't recommend him to my friends or family. Happy to see some had good experiences though.

Never saw him in person. Had a bad flare, was hospitalized for two weeks, he never showed up to see me. All communication thru email and takes up to 3 days to get an answer. He treats my condition by a protocol, let's use this, does not help, let's try that, etc.. He never explained side effects of the drugs he prescribes.... Always seek for a second opinion.

Went for a colonoscopy and was given a very high dosage of fentanyl as an anesthetic which I was never warned about. I fell unconscious throughout the day and was back in emergency that night with severe dehydration, toxic liver, broken nose and concussion.

I was very happy with the gastroscopy Dr. Chung performed on me. He made the procedure very bearable/comfortable and provided prompt follow-up with my family doctor! His receptionist was very kind as well :)
I highly recommend Dr. Chung!

Dr Chung is the best doctor anybody can have.
He always used to say to me I have to fix your problem which now it is under control.

I have been seeing Dr Henry Chung for over 14 years and he is by far the best doctor I have seen. He is very friendly and have so much patience to literally sit back and listen to my problem. There have been times my Crohn's would flare in between appointments and Dr Chung would call me directly and help me over the phone. Receptionists in the office are the sweetest people, they are always friendly, very helpful at passing the message to Dr Chung and setting up my appointments. Would recommend him 100%.
