Dr Faruggia is kind, patient and intently listens to all of your concerns. He is the best doctor I’ve ever encountered.

I had several myringotomies (ear tube insertion) performed by this doctor just over a 2 year period...My ear problem persisted, became worse, and was not permanently or partially corrected. When he told me that I would have to come in every 6 months to 1 year to get this procedure done, I quickly changed to my wife's doctor. The medical bills racked up over a 2 year period at this office have caused me some financial distress and hardship. The only plus side is that this doctor is quite knowledgeable in his chosen field, which makes him somewhat arrogant at times when you ask him pertinent questions regarding the procedure being performed. Hence, the 'practice (they're practicing) of medicine'.

Not the most pleasant bedside manner, but he seems to be competent, so far, which is the most important criterion.

The only thing that set me aback was he refused to let me record our conversation on my iPhone. Since we were discussing my new diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma, I wanted to remember all the details. He did make one comment that I interpreted as slightly sarcastic, but nothing to warrant disparaging his skill as a physician.

I can't believe the negative comments. I feel Dr. Farrugia is very caring when explaining his diagnosis. I had problems with my ears that another doctor did not pick up on and Dr. Farrugia new immediately what was wrong. I am glad I was referred to him.

One word to describe this doctor is arrogant. Went in for my teenage daughter, and he diagnosed her with migraine vertigo and basically said we have to live with it, maybe she will outgrow it. Gave us 2 pages of foods to avoid, which could trigger episodes and said follow up with your neurologist. Absolute NO bedside manner, after being sick for so long, felt worse leaving his office.

This doctor is an egotistical maniac. negligent in diagnosis I had a major ear infection that traveled to my throat. Doctor Farrugia was arrogant and could of caused me a serious infection causing an abscess and surgery by not prescribing an antibiotic. I had to leave and see another doctor that put me on a 10 day heavy antibiotic and also found a pool of blood under my ear drum. Terrible man that is negligent and arrogant to the core. As I noticed he was wrong and won't help I got up and left the visit as he chased me down the hallway saying I'm no longer welcome at the practice. with that said the medical board would review this as unprofessional conduct for any doctor.

Dr. Farrugia and his staff are heartless and inconsiderate. My 17 year old son had an MRI due to frequent dizzy spells. After the MRI is done, the process is to make an appointment to review the results with the DR. We made an appointment the following week after the MRI. I went in for the appointment to review without my minor son as he had to work. We figured since I am his mother and he is a minor, it would not be an issue. I waited in the waiting room, paid my copay, and was put in another room to wait. The nurse came in and told me that Dr. Farrugia refused to review my son's results until I can bring him back with me. I begged the nurse for Dr. Farrugia to come in and just talk to me since I was one of his patients as well. He refused to even come in and talk to me. I had to leave the office without knowing the results of my son's MRI after waiting for a week. There is no humanity in this office, very uncaring and inconsiderate. When your child is sick, you just want some compassion, some answers and not be treated like just another number. I will never go back to this office. They are very rude.

I'm so happy I found this doctor. I have seen a number of other doctors who could not figure out the problem. He knew right away the problem with my ears. He gave me a prescription lotion and within a week I was doing much better.

There are a lot of ENT's out there to choose from. Dr. Farrugia is just one of those docs. He is not the best. On a scale of 1-10, I give him a 5.
