Dr. Ponette was nothing short of amazing during my whole labour experience. He checked on me every few hours, explained where we were at, managed my expectations (baby was large and it did end up in a c section), was calm and kept me and my husband calm. I had my doula there who he also kept informed and allowed to be in the room during all check ins. I even requested him to call me after I was discharged as I had some questions and he was able to call me and answer my questions and concerns. He was the best doctor I could have imagined to be there through it all. Calm and beyond exceptional bedside manner. Thank you Dr Ponette.

I was followed by dr.ponette for all my 3 kids, therefore my experience with him wasn’t just a 1 time thing . With each child I was more amazed by his expertise and him as a human . I was honoured to be his patient. His one of the most amazing drs I have ever met he can see so clearly in you what you and your baby need and he can make life changing decision the most life changing event . No one should ever question him , just trust that his is THE best and you will be perfectly fine . I thank you so much for everything .

DR Ponette is Amazing!!!! No words!!!!!!! he is truly truly the best!!!!!!!!! just 5 years ago when I started my first pregnancy, I came in at 20 weeks with an open cervix t, I was almost miscarrying. Dr Ponette did an emergency cerclage which went really really well!! At that time I was also put on complete bed rest. During my hospital stay, Dr. Ponette was extremely devoted (even I was not his patient at that time!) He gave me lots of support & kept on encouraging me! Thanks god who send me this angle I made it! Since than he followed me another 2 pregnancies which just proofed me how extremely nice, kind, careful & devoted he is to each of his patients!!!!!!!!! again he is phenomenal!!!!!!! THE BEST!!!!!

This doctor is very charismatic but he’s not trustworthy. He convinced me to follow a very heavy and intrusive treatment that would have a 50% chance to improve a small possibility of my baby being born with a brain problem. He promised to look after my results during this intrusive treatment, but he never did. My health deteriorated every week during my third trimester because of the treatment and I went multiple times to the emergency room. By my 33 th week I was not able to walk on my own anymore. Eventually I was told that I have to deliver through C-Section because they were worried for my life. I was a few rooms away from his office, but he didn’t bother to visit.
I am very grateful that my baby is ok and it took me about 3 months to recover from the side effects cause by the treatment.
During my hospital stay, a nurse showed me my results during the treatment and I was shocked to see how my numbers were going down after every session and nobody was looking at them. This doctor really didn’t care about my health at all. All my agony could have been easily prevented if he would checked those results.

A true professional. We are lucky to have him in Montreal. Dr Ponette followed me through my high risk pregnancy and made me feel reassured every step of the way. He is knowledge and up to date on all the latest with obstetrics. He did a cerclage for me and was super gentle and quick. He also treats his staff with the utmost respect and creates a great team environment for everyone. Consider yourself lucky if you have him as you doctor.

He saw my mother as just a cash grab and tried to get doctors at another hospital to have her transferred over to him, knowing she was a high risk pregnancy and we almost lost them both. He misinformed the doctor on her situation, which caused her placenta to break, and she started haemorrhaging and oxygen was cut off from the baby, an emergency c-section was required. All he saw was the money in it for him to perform her c-section, rather than thinking of her and my baby brother’s life.

I met Dr Ponette after losing my baby girl at 20 weeks and he was there to deliver her, examin me and all that had happened and he promised me that the next time I would leave the hospital with a healthy baby in my arms… it happened exactly one year later, and here I am on pregnancy 3 halfway through and still followed by him, he performed cerclages on both pregnancies and I couldn’t feel more reassured by this doctor always having my back. I trust him like no other doctor and know that he will always do what is in my and my baby’s best interest. Always takes the time to look you in the eye and ask how you are doing. Eco’s every visit, very warm and considerate human being.

Phenomenal doctor, extremely knowledgeable very thorough as a health care professional myself I felt completely at ease for him to take full care of me while I was completely out of it. Extremely compassionate and humble. He saw me through my kidney stones at 32 weeks and if he is on call when I deliver I'll be extremely grateful to have him work with me again.
