Dr Filion spends little time with the patient, mis-diagnoses and just sends you to physical therapy to keep his staff busy. Find another doctor. The physical therapist are excellent and are recommended.

I was in excruciating pain from my sciatica nerve in my back for a week. His wonderful staff got me in the same day I called. I crawled into Dr. Filion's office and I walked out a new person. This is a week later and I feel wonderful. Thank you Dr. Filion and staff.

misdiagnosed me in May..Took till now to find different doctors and the one who referred me to an MRI was a Rheumatologist! Dr. Filion wrote me off as obese with arthritic issues. only to find i Have severe degenerative joint disease and have been suffering 5 months more than i had to. He is not orthopedic and the first mistake i made was allowing First Care Lyndhurst to refer him as the 'orthopedic' doctor to see.

Saw Dr. Filion for 4th time today, with 3rd different child. Office staff , as always , has been great. Had to post review after reading below reviews as each visit with Dr. Filion has been nothing short of great to deal with. Very concerned about injury, took time to listen, and I feel I received top care each time. All kids doing great and have returned to sports.

I was disappointed that dr. filion did not take the time to listen to what was going on with me. I have pain that travels all around my back, arms, neck and head but I had to keep interrupting him to tell him about it all. He wanted me to go to physical therapy 3 times a week for 4 weeks- this would end up costing me $600 under my insurance. He rushed me out of the office, I was following him down the hall asking questions and he wouldn't slow down. At one point I interrupted him to tell him that on Sunday I had woken up with the most horrible headache of my life and that I was so scared that I was considering going to the hospital and he just said, 'have a rough saturday night? haha'. I was really disappointed after waiting so long to see this doctor and being in pain everyday just looking forward to seeing him and get some relief but getting nothing but frustration. The office staff was very rude, they treated me like a bum trying to shop in a snobby overpriced high end boutique.

Worst experience Ive ever had with a Doctor/office. Saw him twice, each time visit was less than 5 minutes. He never touched my injury, or wanted to unwrap it. Told me I would be better in 2 weeks. 2 months later Ive been seeing another doctor who put me in a cast for a month, and now a soft brace and still have long road to recovering. The second Dr. gave me full explanation of issues, injury, and damage. While Dr. Filion misdiagnosed my injury off one X-ray and misread the xray because of an old injury. The office staff is just as bad. Told me they take my insurance before I came for visits then after stated to me that they do not take my insurance. Now I have to pay for bad service out of pocket. Still dealing with office staff to deal with insurance issue 2 months after visits. I would never recommend this doctor or facility to anyone. Save yourself the time and headaches.

Excellent experience. Doc came highly recommended by local athletes who have seen him. No he is not a surgeon or radiologist, as noted below, but does not advertise to be such. He is well known as a non surgical sports medicine specialist with a conservative approach to sports injuries. He has been very knowledgible on every injury I have seen him for ( 3 to this point). Patients love him because he is not one to rush to surgery. How anyone does not like this guy is beyond me. Personable, professional, and punctual.
