Told me I was overfeeding my newborn. I fed on demand when he would show signs of hunger such as eating his handsbut I would never let him go past 3 hours without a feeding. My son is in the 50th percentile for weight and height so explain to me if he is in the averages that I am over feeding him. she also suggested I stop breastfeeding once we established a milk protein allergy instead of cutting dairy out of my diet.

This office has let me down. The np pat was great and dr lozano who are the first i met but they are so overscheduled they hardly spend time with you and often i got rescheduled w dr bowcher who is very rude and unprofessional. she said not to pick up my 6wk son too much when he cried cause he would get too used to it, she knew norThing about breastfeeding and told me to stretch his feedings that he was overweight, whereas dr white confirmed he wasnt next visit. No one washed hands otR wore gloves. They scheduled me with the wrong person 4 times. The front desk is disorganized and very aloof. The nurses never called me with test results either.

As a healthcare professional, I was not at all impressed with the experience that I had at the Ormond Pediatric office with Dr. Bowcher. First, not one person introduced themselves. Second, no one washed their hands. Third, no one wore gloves. Fourth, the doctor called out the nurse in front of us about an issue, which I think is terribly unprofessional. Fifth, the doctor was not up to speed on current AAP guidelines. Sixth, the exam was incomplete with no screenings that should be ordered for a child at the age that mine is. There was no verbal screenings for lead or TB, which given the area and some of the things that were mentioned in the course of the visit, there should have been some questioning going on, but she didn't seem to care. Seventh, bedside manner could use a little work. Eight, suckers at check out, really? In this day and age, you are going to give our suckers with artificial dyes and no nutritional value? Come on!

This is the worst doctors office I have ever been to. I have switched my kids. Every couple of months I have to prove my payments to them. You can barely understand what they she is saying. My son is being sent to a specialist (which I had a idea it was going to happen) but the doctors office couldn't even call and tell me yes we are sending him to a specialist. I receive a call from my insurance company telling me. I wish my insurance was accepted by my old pediatrician but hopefully the new doctor we will be going to is better than this doctor and practice.
