Dr. Nutt took the practice from Dr. Lauden who retired. My wife and I adored Dr. Lauden and decided to give Dr. Nutt a chance. Dr. Nutt has the personality of a dead fish. She is cold and rude every time we visit. I have never seen her smile and she has never greeted us with a hello or goodbye. I went last week to have several moles, skin tags, and red dots (don't know the tech name) from my head and chest. I only got half of what I wanted done because she barely listened to my request before jumping into action. She gave me a full body exam that lasted all of 5 seconds. All she did was look me up and down and spin me around once. I told her my head has been itching non stop for a very long time and she sighed heavily and replied "if I had a dime for every time someone told me their head itched I could retire". Not the medical explanation or advice I was looking for! My family is going elsewhere!!

I've gone twice to see D. Nutt, and both times she prescribed me the same thing. The second time, I told her that I would like to try something different, and she kept on insisting that I try the same treatment. In the end, the treatment didn't work and now I'm having to look for another dermatologist.

New to SA i made an appointment to see Dr. Nutt. what i should have done is read her reviews which was my mistake - she came in cold as ice, shook my hand and never smiled, did not visit with me (even briefly) fielding my questions, concerns etc. she spoke through her teeth, was very rigid - the first thing she said to me was you have major sun damage prompted by "you will have skin cancer" - all this within a minute of meeting her - although i am an avid outdoor athlete and p.e. teacher - yes i am in the sun quite a bit -i make a point of seeing dermatologists every 6-12 months and do take precautions with sunscreen etc. i expected her to tell me i have sun damaged skin - what was uncalled for was HOW she spoke to me and just blatantly said you will get skin cancer - just like that. I have never been spoken to by a doctor in that manner - it was to the point that all i wanted to do is leave - not share anything and just leave. probably to her surprise i left with a clean bill of skin health - no cancers or questionable areas - upon checking out i had a question about a prescription she had written for me and had just left the room - she was still there in between patients - i asked front staff if i could ask her quickly that question (as i saw her there around the corner) - they told me to ask her nurse (on the phone for 7 minutes) and she would ask the Dr. she was right there!!!! they made me wait in the waiting room until nurse was off phone - i asked the nurse to which she did not know the answer and then proceeded around the corner to ask dr. nutt (who heard me talk to the nurse!!) she responded to the nurse before she finished asking her and then the nurse responded to me - how pathetic is that! not friendly, helpful in the least - she may be very knowledgeable in her field - but absolutely lacking in bedside manner and disposition to at least new patients - i immediately cancelled my follow-up appointment and my husband's - we will be looking for another dr. - good riddance dr. nutt-job

I agree with comments about the stuff, that is not very friendly and helpful, but I disagree about Dr. Nutt. She is a bit formal, but non the less friendly and very helpful. She immediately identified my problem as soon as she came in, gave me a different treatment than the other doctor and answered all my multiple questions. The treatment that she gave me helped to get rid of years of suffering. I also came back for some cosmetic procedures, and I can tell that she has a lot of experience. I also never had to wait more than 5 min in the reception area.

Don't go here. I've seen dr nutt twice now and won't be making that mistake a third time. Staff is not very friendly, but what really bothers me is the dr herself. She is just very unfriendly, blasé, and not very helpful. I don't think I saw her smile once in the 2 times I've seen her. Like another reviewer said, she seems inconvenienced by my questions/concerns and she she also told me to stop getting so much sun because all the freckles on my face would turn into wrinkles. This stuck with me and really insulted me. I don't "go tanning". I'm Irish and have been covered in freckles for as long as I can remember. Aside from having freckles, my skin is pale. I had come in to see her regarding acne problems despite being 30 years old. She addressed the problem, gave me an RX, and made the comment about me freckles. I felt like she was judging me like I don't know how to take care of myself or like I was beneath her. I'm an RN and I do have a general knowledge of healthy living.

I went in for a skin irritation and she was very brief, wouldn't truly listen to me when I told her what I thought it was from and gave me a prescription. Although the prescription worked, I could only use it for a week and it didn't FIX the problem, issues came back immediately after I quit using it. I told her I thought it was from my shampoo, she tried to brush me off but she gave me a shampoo and conditioner sample saying to use that on my hair to fix that problem. I asked her, if it works, where would I buy this? She simply stated, I'm not sure, it may be something you have to order...seriously? Needless to say, I used the sample one day and my entire neck became red and dry patches everywhere...it was awful. I was stunned that she hands out samples, not knowing how to order the product. So, in a nutshell, I feel like she doesn't listen, her staff was rude to each other while I was there, she doesn't listen, and she didn't help. Find a different Dr.!

The staff overall was unfriendly. Most of all, Dr. Nutt seemed inconvenienced by my questions and concerns. She gave no advice for improving the condition. She spent very little time with me and did not even look at my skin. I left feeling helpless. Please, please find a different doctor to show concern and politeness for your questions.

Forgot my insurance card & they didn't want to take fax from primary front & back or even verify. Then they were rude. Nurse said appt was at 10:40, it was then 11 when I waited for office staff who just were talking to each other. I said I wasn't rescheduling because dr office sent over info & I had I'd. Then dr was horrible , she has the worse bed side manner ever. She spent 2 min and had asked me like 2 questions. She shrugged her shoulders when I told her why my well respected physician referred me. She said after her well evaluation(what evaluation) that was some skin irritation. 2 dr's already confirmed shingles. She cut me off didn't listen to anything I said & didn't even put me in a gown, etc..
