Dr. Mari is a decent doctor. I like the fact that he used to be a pharmacist so he's pretty informed about the meds I use for my R.A. as well as the meds he prescribes for my high blood pressure/cholesterol/triglycerides. However, his staff is unbelievable. Debbie is bi-polar - you just don't know how mean and vindictive she will be. The staff goes out of their way to be contrary. Dr. Mari's wife is also one of the staff, and she is getting more obstinate as years go by. The staff doesn't know the meaning of customer service. When they errored on a billing code I had to go round and round with the staff. My insurance company told me the error code and explained what needed to be done, but Dr. Mari's staff claimed to contact them to straighten it out, but never actually did. I had to keep following up. It took several weeks to finally get satisfaction. Debbie actually hung up on me!!! I contacted Dr. Mari directly via fax and he personally called me back to straighten out the matter.

Has been the most concerned and personable of all the physicians I've seen in the past. It helps that he is a pharmacist as well.

Dr. Mari is only good if you have a basic illness such as a respitory infection. If you have anything serious he has no clue what he is doing. One of the worst male chauvanest Drs. I have ever seen.

I went to Dr Mari for several years. I was astounded at the continual 'who cares' attitude. One time, I called shortly before lunch because I was experiencing serious side effects (heart palpitations) from a prescription Dr Mari gave me. The office refused to talk to me until after lunch and informed me they would call me back. No recommendation to go to the ER and acted quite condescending toward me implying I was making a 'big deal' out of nothing. I waited out for a return phone call that took 2 hours to return!Further, when I brought this up to Dr Mari on my next visit he acted like he couldn't be bothered. I have since found a great professional physician and am thankful that I never had any emergency medical condition that I would have had to rely on these folks for.

I was totally shocked and stunned at the "who cares" attitude of not only the office staff, but the nurse and doctor as well. He just can't be bothered with you, please... you are taking up his time! There is nothing except dollar signs behind those eyes. Beware! I cannot believe how he just brushed off some medical concerns, just to get a family member out of his office. I won't ever go there again and will be looking for a new doctor.
