I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Kim and had a bittersweet experience. Dr. Kim's level of professionalism was markedly different pre-op versus post-op. Overall and as far as I can tell, the surgery was a success--minimal pain post-op and unproblematic healing. My disappointment is with Dr. Kim's behavior post-op. At that point, Dr. Kim demonstrated no concern for me as a patient and limited tolerance of my few straight-forward post-op questions, instead giving me literature to read and some instructions from her staff, who might have been nurses or might be just employees. My follow-up visit with Dr. Kim lasted maybe TWO MINUTES, at which point she walked out of the room w/o telling me my visit was over. I sat there waiting for her to return, having NOT had the opportunity to ask my wound-care question. I hope this behavior is an anomaly for Dr. Kim, and not indicative of how this young doctor intends to run her practice pre-payment versus post-payment.
