Dr Hayes was the first pulmonologist I met at the University of ky transplant , I was exteremely impressed with him, my husband and really did miss him, an where ever he may be that really got a great dr.

The best doctor I have ever seen, and I have seen a few. He is very attentive, spends a lot of time talking to you, is open to suggestions you have about what tests you might need or what you think might pertain to your illness. He is compassionate and seems to really care about my health BUT is also very frank and to the point. If you don't want a MD that tells you what he thinks then don't go to him BUT if you appreciate honesty...he's your MD. MOST KNOWLEDGABLE MD IN HIS PRACTICE. I have had to see the others in the past and they are not as thorough or knowledgable.
