I was told I could not post that he was a j..rk so I removed the word from my previous post. So be it, I may not post it, but rest assured I am thinking it.

He was my PCP for several years after my former PCP stopped practicing. I liked him at first and thought he was a good doctor. However, around 2018 he began to be less thorough and more difficult to see when I was sick. His staff stopped answering the phone and would not call back promptly. Then in March 2020, I got sick. I took Covid test and it was negative. I called his office and was told that it CD was likely a false negative and to take the Covid test again. I did and it was also negative. So I called his office and was told to take the test again. I took it a third time…also negative. I called his office again and asked if he would at least send me some meds and was told that he likely would not. So I changed PCP’s and new doctor saw me and prescribed meds for a sinus infection. Last year I decided I wanted to return to St Thomas medical group to see another doctor there. I was told since I had not been there in over 2 years Dr. Kayser would have to release. Later that day I got a snippy text message that he refused to release me because he worked with all the doctors over there and could end up having to treat me again. This guy had a God complex. Fortunately now I have a wonderful doctor who listens to me and treats me like a human being.

Dr. Kayser berated my sister-n-law , and my Mom’s immediate family, in regards to her mother-in-law’s (my mother) not taking care of herself. One of his complaints was that she not come to his office without a family member. Currently, I’m attempting to remedy that issue by having him complete FMLA papers. However, because he doesn’t like paperwork, I’ve had to wait for over 3 weeks for the FMLA forms to be completed. I need one measly form . It would take less than 15 seconds to fill out! Do you, Dr. Kayser, just give lip service without really helping to be a part of the solution? I want to get my Mom to you but you aren’t willing to help me do that. I suppose you just enjoy yelling at an old lady who YOU say has dementia. Help me help you help her.

Excellent physician, thorough, definitely cares about our family. I've found him to be professional, encouraging and very kind. Most importantly he is honest, highly skilled and ethical. Our family has been seeing him for many years and consider ourselves lucky to have him in our corner.

Kept staring at me and backing away while laughing my first appointment. Didn’t do physical exam. I requested physical exam, he pointed scope in both ears and mouth and I could see from reflection in his napkin dispenser he was not looking in the scope. Took cell phone call during physical exam, he was close to me and I could hear his receptionist on the other end making a mimicking voice of people of my ethnic descent. Dr. Kayser laughed at a very loud volume at her mocking voice. Backed away and said “you’re fine”. I asked shouldn’t I get lab work, he said “nah I think you’re fine”. This was my new patient appointment with him

Dr. Kayser spent a lot of tine with me getting the full picture of what mt concerns were. He systematically worked through each issue. I found him to be very kind, concerned, knowledgeable, and he really listened to me. Keisha, his nurse, was also fantastic. I’m very glad I found him and strongly recommend him to everyone I know.

Violated my HIPAA rights by my second appointment with him after referring me to a terrible psychiatrist in the area *(who turned out to be a quack part of a family of terrible psychiatrists -side-note avoid Barton psychiatry ,a toxic clan of deprecated insecurity and plague to the nashville mental health community that literally get something out of abusing their own patients. it's unfathomable how Daniel Barton isn't on the AMA's radar)* speaking in detail to this psych about my appointments with both doctors. Dr. Kayser seemed to be very amused with himself when I brought up I hadn't signed any release and that i was curious how it was legal for him to speak to this other doctor. creepy and should probably be avoided
