Great doctor. I have GAD and with his treatment it’s controlled and I trust him 100%. Gives me the right meds to control my anxiety. His staff is incredible and so helpful. I highly recommend him.

First of all, I went to Dr. Joseph in 1997, seeking help and he gave me a diagnosis, but he really didn't want me to get caught up in a label, which I understand. He gave me some advice and meds and they were a tremendous help. In fact, my life finally felt normal after many years of pain. But I had to move away and was diagnosed with something similar, but not exactly what he had said so my meds were different and I was up and down for many years.

Anyway, in 2017, I moved back to Longwood and knew I wanted to go back to Dr. Joseph, but I lived about 45 min to 1 hour from his office so my GP said they could prescribe my meds. Well, later my GP and I agreed I really needed to start seeing a psychiatrist again. There was only so much he could do and I was struggling. I found someone else that I went to for 5 years then I had a TERRIBLE experience with her and she has the worst ratings (Center for Psychiatry: Dr. Naomi Jones - just google her stay away from her) and if you want to know the full story google her name and read my review.

So back to Dr. Joseph I went. I almost cried because he was like a breath of fresh air. I felt totally safe with him and really wished I hadn't wasted my time with the other office just to save myself a few minutes. Even though he runs a very busy office you would NEVER know it. There's never a wait more than 10 minutes or so, he never overbooks appointments, the office staff runs like a well oiled machine. They are efficient, helpful, and courteous. EVERYONE shows you they care. He is one in a million.

But after a year or more he and I agreed I would try once again to try to find someone closer. But I was unsuccessful in finding someone reputable and close.

Anyway, after arriving back again (3rd time is a charm) in Dr. Joseph's office, I hardly had to explain while I was back before he shook his head and said he's hearing some horror stories that are similar to my experience.

I pray he never retires. What is going on? What will we do? If you want to feel cared for, this man is one of the few. Thanks for reading this. Do your homework, read reviews, but don't waste your time, just call Dr. Joseph.

He has been my doctor for over 15 years and I cannot think of another psychiatrist who is more qualified and caring than him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Joseph's for 20 years. He has seen me in some of the worst times of my life. We had to try many different meds to find the right ones for me but he was wonderful throughout the entire process. Even when I had NO INSURANCE he made sure he had my back. His staff has always been a blessing making sure I had my appointments and perscriptions in hand.
I travel from the west side of Florida every 3 months a 1 3/4 hour drive to Orlando because I can't find a doctor that will treat my mental health the way he does. Bless him and his staff.

I have been with this doctor for almost 20 years and I must say he is one of the finest doctors i have ever had. Despite being busy he always listens to what I have to say and treats my problems with care and efficiency. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great psychiatrist in the Orlando area.

I drive all the way to Orlando from Lake County to see Dr. Joseph because he has improved the quality of life for me. His credentials are impeccable- Harvard and MIT degrees and many others. I've been seeing Dr. Joseph for 10 years, I was a mess when I first walked into his office. I had Anxiety, Depression and Bipolar issues. Through the years he has helped me cope with my illnesses, changing meds as needed to make sure I can function around people and deal with my illnesses. I can't recommend a better Dr. Thank you Dr. Joseph for putting me in the condition I'm now where I am able to function a bit better because of you.
