I met Dr. Bonds when I was 42. I visited her to determine why my cough was so intense. During that visit she determined I had adult onset asthma. I was stunned to learn that I had developed asthma at 42. During the conversation my family history came up. As we discussed my family history another issue became apparent. That issue dealt with colonoscopy screening. In short, my father had colon cancer when I was in my twenties. She suggested that I make an appointment with my GI specialist to get screened again. I followed her advice, I found out I had two polyps. One polyp was larger than my GI physician felt comfortable with. If I had let that screening go for another 10 years I may have had a large tumor to deal with. All because of a conversation during a visit to determine why my cough was so intense ultimately led to saving my life, or at least preventing a polyp from morphing into a massive tumor. Whoever you are reading this don't hesitate to visit her to determine why you may be allergic to something or have a cough. She is meant to be who she is for people. Listen to her advice. If she instructs you to take a medication, or eliminate something from your diet, do it! Don't diagnose yourself because you are not trained to do so. Get her advice and run with it. It will be the best thing you can do for your health. I am alive because I listened! I hope this helps you make a decision to visit her. May you all have great health.

Dr. Bonds is an amazing and professional physician. I have been seeing her for over 10 year. She is the only physician that has been able to help me with my allergies. I won't go to anyone else.

Before I give my own review on Dr. Bonds, I wanted to address another individual's review first. The fact that someone accused this doctor for visiting them in their hospital room wearing "house shoes" is ridiculous. I work at the same hospital she did then and she would never have gotten through the front doors dressed like that without being sent home. That alone discredits the individuals entire review on Dr. Bonds. As for my opinion of her as my own physician, in short, it has been nothing less than life changing. I have been a patient of hers for a few years. I'm a difficult case and not always the most compliant patient. I followed her to her private practice and I'm so thankful I did. In all my years working in the medical field, I know how rare it is to find a physician with the depth of knowledge she has, the compassion she feels towards her patients, her willingness to listen to every need and concern even after office hours, her commitment to medically treat all patients safely and effectively- whilst maintaining that every patient is an individual and their treatment course should reflect that. I never could have imagined a life where my allergies and asthma didn't control so much of it. I garden now! I spend a weekend outdoors in the spring and don't severely pay for it later! I eat seafood without anxiety! I can't remember the last time I used my inhaler! THAT is a great blessing. I still have more work with Dr. Bonds and we have more to figure out about my crazy allergies but I know she's dedicated to my health. Bottom line, when you find a doctor like her, the total package, you stick with them.

Dr. Bonds is an excellent physician. She is very professional and has the best bedside manner. She helped me understand my allergies and we came up with a game plan to control it in the future.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bonds for several years now. She is excellent in all aspects of patient care, and is one the most personally caring doctor I've ever had the pleasure of knowing... and I've worked in hospitals for more than 30 years. Her expertise in controlling my asthma has improved my quality of life immensely! She has helped me understand the problems caused by allergies and how they affect asthma as well. Her professionalism is, and has always been, beyond reproach. I highly recommend Dr. Bonds to anyone with asthma and/or allergies.

Dr Bonds is an excellent physician and patient advocate. She does not minimize patient concerns and takes time to answer all of questions. After 30 years of my being treated by others, she has stabilized my condition as well as educated me so that I am better prepared to participate in minimizing my allergy and asthma triggers.

I just likes this doctor because she's the best doctor that my mother has ever had and took care of my mother's asthma like she needed to be cared for.
