My husband and I went to see Dr. Becker yesterday. He was told he had RA and was referred to her. We tried talking to her and asking questions but she stated we were being COMBATIVE. Really asking questions to a doctor and trying to discuss concerns. I work with the public, listening to peoples concerns and answering questions is what you do. She was so rude then just shut down and basically left the room. From then on we talked to nurse, had blood work and x-ray completed. I do not recommend anyone seeing Dr. Jennifer Becker. The rest of the staff were friendly, helpful and at least acted like they want to assist.

Oh my goodness! I went to see her today. She is just plain out RUDE! She treated me like I had an IQ of 80! She wanted all of my medical records from my other doctors, and I quote"Because she didn't believe what I told her" unquote! Seriously! This is the first time she has ever seen me and she basically called me a liar. I was sitting there with my portable oxygen and she didn't believe that I had breathing problems. You cn only get a portable oxygen tank with a doctors prescription. She also kept interrupting me and would not listen. The office staff wasn't very friendly either. I could list many other things about her, that I didn't like, but I won't. I WILL NOT go back to see her again, and I certainly don't recommend her!

I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder 22 years ago. Although webtrird to get my past records from a doctor in Greenville
We were unsuccessful. Two doctors in spartanburg were not contacted but I doubt she would have taken the time to read them. If its not RA or lupus she doesn't seem to believe it's reall I was admitted to the hospital with severe immune trauma and shingles. She only was interested in shingles. I have recently had another relapse and she won, t even see me.

Had my first visit today with Dr Becker. I was very pleased with my visit. She was pleasant and explained the tests she plans to do. I return in 2 weeks for the results and to discuss a care plan.

Last time I saw her, I had a list of about 5 items to go over with her. I do not see her often because I have gout that is controlled with medicine. She cut me off, mid sentence and said she did not have time to see me for several issues in once visit since I had not been there in a long while and that I would need to make another appointment. I found her very rude and uncaring. I have a hard time getting to see her because of the copay, she is a specialist and I have a high copay, I am unable to work with two children but she did not show any concern about that.

Miss this Rheumatology doctor so much. I had the pleasure of being treated by her just before she moved from Ct. Spotted my hyper mobile joints right away and discovered I was also low in Vitamin D which internists had not found. Prescribed a non narcotic medicine another doctor had taken away and was the only one that worked for me. She is compassionate, thorough, knowledgable and truly listens to her patients. Our loss in Ct is SC's gain. Miss this physician so much.

Unless you already have a diagnosis confirmed by someone else, there is no need to go to her. She doesn't take the time to listen. She has cut me off and then told me I wasn't explaining things when I was even pointing to the problem. Once she saw what I was pointing at, she said she didn't notice anything abnormal. People in the waiting room had pointed those issues out to me so how a doctor couldn't see it, I will never know. I plan to get a second opinion and for her sake, she better hope I don't get a diagnosis...

Dr Jennifer Becker is a very compassionate and I believe an extremely competant doctor who leaves no stone unturned. She discovered my varied debilitating symptoms were not all due to fibromyalgia but low vitamin D. I had been to my primary care doctor multiple times as well as many specialists and spent thousands of dollars needlessly over the course of a year and a half until I saw Dr Becker. I was so sorry to see her move from Ct. but so thankful I got in to see her before she left. I have a new lease on life and feel so good.
