Dr. Pervez helped me snap out of a deep depression and for that I am forever grateful. The only thing I have any complaint about is that he was out of the country a lot. In fact, when I needed him most one time, I was forced to seek help from another psychiatrist who is now my permanent doctor. I like both of these doctors but the current one I have is much more accessible and is even available to me on Saturdays after he does his hospital rounds. God meant for these two doctors to be in my life at those given times - and forever I will be appreciative of that.

Dr Pervez is Mansfield, Ohio's worse mental health care nightmare. It was bad enough that he has his own office where he mistreats people but now he is medical director of The Center. That means you will not receive proper treatment. No matter how urgent your needs are, or how long you have taken a medication or how crucial it is that you have it, he will not let the Nurse Practitioners prescribe it and he will threaten their jobs. He ruined one nice NP who defied him. She had to quit. There is a medicine which is a small amount of benzodiazepine. It has been a life saver for me for 20 years. He will not let me have it anymore even though I have used it for years before he showed up. My quality of life is non existent without this medicine. This man should be run out of town and replaced with a doctor who actually cares about his patients. This man will let a person die before will prescribe something that won't fill his pockets from big pharma.

I would not recommend Dr. Pervez for many reasons as follows: He is always running behind, his staff waits to the last minute to return calls that is IF they actual return a call without you calling several times, they wait until the very last minute to process paperwork, and if you disagree at all or question treatment he will drop you as a patient without referring you or telling you that he will not see you again...he lets his staff act like he has no appointments and then finally has them tell you he just doesn't think that he can help you. Why?? Because you disagree with taking a arsenal of meds.

Dr. Pervez is a lifesaver. He takes the time to listen and works hard at helping me feel the best I can with as little medication as possible. He also linked me up with other alternative treatments to help me learn to cope. The only downfall is the wait time for apps. ( They r long due to the fact that he takes the time to listen)

When I started seeing him, I was on Medicaid and could not find a doctor who took that. He was not really taking new Medicaid patients at that time, but agreed to see me anyway because I couldn't find anyone else. He has been very helpful and very accommodating. The only negative thing is that he is always running late. I often have to sit in the waiting room for an hour or more before my appointments. His staff is very kind and helpful, too.
